If you write about games, and would like to work with truly independent media then just letting you know we exist 👋 We’re 100% independent, editorially and financially, and are invested in giving writers the space to write about games properly Oh, and we’re print so no algorithms to keep happy!

For those of you on the east coast, this will be my one appearance for this year. I'll be in Fort Lauderdale FL on Sunday October 25 at this event with further details to come. I'll have books, prints and original art with me for sale.

More items will be added to the store page soon while I continue work on the SHATTERED TOMORROWS graphic novel and Lara-Su App. In the meantime, all paid orders are generally shipped within 24 hours with a tracking number provided.

I had a great birthday. I spent it with close friends who accompanied me to see AVENGERS ENDGAME ENCORE , then we all went back to the home Bernie & I share, where she had a shrimp scampi dinner & chocolate granache cake waiting for us, along with gifts & birthday wishes. I really have a good life.

Thanks to all of those who helped me greatly during this challenging month. Now that I finally got my paycheck from my job, I will be closing the GoFundMe. Thank you again to those who shared and donated!

This cover was bound to look cool

I'm indeed working on THE LARA-SU CHRONICLES: SHATTERED TOMORROWS. Here's a sneak peak at what comes next. I took out "To Be Continued..." and Pg 17 and replaced it with a balloon that was in Panel 1 of this page, which opens with the response now.

Be sure to follow along at @jp.debugmag.com where regular updates, including subscription information, will be posted over the coming weeks

What does this mean for game developers? We believe, good things! If your game has a Japanese localisation, we’ll make our team in Japan aware, and there’s a strong chance of us covering you in multiple regions 🤩 English coverage of Japan-exclusive titles is also now very much on the table

Exciting news for Japanese speakers! A fully native Japanese version of Debug is in the works, and will release this year debug JAPAN is produced entirely by a dedicated team in Japan, written by native Japanese speakers, and will feature exclusive content 🤩 お楽しみに〜

To those who've donated, it's greatly appreciated and is helping a bit! Even if you just shared it, that's awesome too! 👍🏼 I managed to convince the landlord to wait until next week, so I got a bit of extra time. Again, anything helps! You guys are awesome!

Is anyone on Mastodon, by chance? We're thinking of posting some less mainstream content there - FOSS, digital rights, privacy, etc. Come say hello world?

I REALLY hate asking for money, but I got hit with some unexpected shit at work and could really use some help covering my rent and bills this month. If you can chip in, even a little bit, it would mean a lot and be a huge help. ❤️ Thank you! gofund.me/556fb7842

What gif shows up when you type your name? Bruh 😂

The chances are if you read print magazines in the 80s and 90s, you’ll have encountered his work. Everyone at Debug sends their deepest condolences to Tim’s family, friends and all those who knew and worked with him.

For those who aren’t aware, Tim had an extraordinary career in publishing and games journalism spanning decades. His work included time at Future Publishing, Team17, Knapp Communications and SPOnG, where he served as Editorial Director, alongside a long career as a writer, editor and researcher.

We are deeply saddened to share the news that our colleague Tim Smith passed away earlier this week. Tim joined Debug as Sub Editor earlier this year, and though our time working together was far too short, we were hugely grateful to have someone of his experience and knowledge as part of the team.

Comic-Con just about wiped out my stock of SONIC ARCHIVES. All I left available for sale on my website are: Vol 11 - 4 copies Vol 12 - 4 copies Vol 15 - 2 copies Vol 16 - 1 copy After that, everyone will have to check EBay and elsewhere.

I've been invited to take part in a documentary about the SatAM series and 90's Sonic fandom during the last weekend of this coming October. I'm being flown to the FT Lauderdale area and will be participating in a store event. Details are currently being worked out. Stay tuned.

Los Angeles I’ll be doing a spot at The Comedy Store this Tuesday. Limited seats left events.leapevents.com/event/cronie...

I just donated to help SPIDER-MAN, who took on nazi scumbags trying to invade Minneapolis again. Arrested by our local cops (boooo) who were diligently defending their racist turd pals. Let’s help good ol’ Webhead with his defense! (PS I can vouch for the GoFundMe creator) gofund.me/6f36a1ac1
