Called to check on my partner who stayed home and the electricity came back!!! Yay!!! So then I drive home through the pitch black. cars are zooming past me. Forget there's an underpass that floods on my way home. I have to turn around so I can get back to the expressway.

So when the house was getting too hot, two cars, 2 people 1 dog drove through the extremely dark city with no working stoplights. Only to get to the hotel that was also pitch black. Could not reach any hotel even with the local number. They all went to main center.

This was a ridiculous evening. Edouard surprised us and knocked the power out, for most of the area. I successfully made a reservation for a hotel for two nights (electric Co estimate for getting power back.
