I agree with this strategy of voting for Dems provided that they haven't embraced extreme anti-trans positions. and I definitely agree that Kaptur, Cuellar, & Turek have all crossed that line & I personally wouldn't vote for them

The elections are on next Tuesday, and so much is at stake, including the soul of the Democratic Party when it comes to transgender people. I am asking you to leave a very small number of races blank in which a Democrat has embraced extreme anti-trans hate. I make my case here.

If you self identify as a Democrat and you think trans people advocating for our issues is a threat that elected officials need to be protected from, then your goal is to silence trans people, and we have to fight your apathy to ensure our rights are among your priorities.

Early this year, I visited Ingram, a TX town of ~1,900, to check out a tip. The area was starting to recover from its worst flood in a century. But as Latino workers drove to jobsites to help rebuild, the tipster said, a cop in a black Dodge Charger kept stopping them ... 🧵

Anti-trans Democrats are spreading poison when we can least afford it, during elections in this ongoing fascist takeover. As a strategy, it’s a recipe for failure. As a moral stand, it’s reprehensible. PS I’m the father of young trans woman and I’ll never forgive anyone who makes her life harder.

New time-travel management strategy game just dropped -- you're thrown back into Lincoln times, but stay that rifle, soldier. To keep the timeline on track, you'll need to settle for terms that are acceptable to the slav-I mean business owners. QTE - press A to resist advocating for full rights

Liberal islamophobia is a hell of a drug "no, but it's ok bc I want good things for Muslims, except the ones who didn't vote Harris. of course i have no way of knowing who's who, but there's no way I'd do something racist like lump them all together, or mock their faith in service of my own ends "

bluesky went from the most accepting social experience we've ever had online to literally fearing for our child's safety because of the far-right brigading Singal personally stirred up overnight in '24 he does not get a redemption arc for trying to turn down the volume on the mob he helped create

every now & then someone on the anti-trans side will get cold feet about how openly ugly it's all getting—they want to keep the image of a nice, sensible centrist but it's never enough for them to get off the train

Mixed feelings here: 1) military enlistment is a mode of being in society, so allowing trans ppl to stay shows an interest in having trans ppl in society. 2) would love to see examples of the US standing up for trans ppl that don't involve participating in war, risking injury or death

Woah - boards of service in the Marines and the Navy are ignoring Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth's order to purge transgender troops from the military. "Navy and Marine Corps boards have voted to retain trans members in nine of 12 cases." www.nytimes.com/2026/10/23/u...

Sorry, I've just seen the DRCC consent ad and am I to understand that people are fully losing their minds in our actual Dáil because they suggested you should ask about a hug? We had driving PSAs that traumatised us but we're too sensitive, and all of y'all are losing your mind over a HUG?!

theoretically there's at least one kid that hadn't really considered being trans until they opened the mailbox, saw the mysterious transgender mailer going around in texas, and went "hey, wait a second"

i would like to vote for a party that welcomes criticism, and I would not like to vote for a party that knowingly hides valid criticism by marginalizing those who express them it's a 4 alarm fire when the party you're counting on to "restore truth" has settled into calling all dissenters enemies.

Any reflections on why "willingness to acknowledge valid criticism of a Democrat" is seen as materially harmful to the election? Does it concern you that Democrats' "serious mode" requires anyone who *sees and acknowledges a true, negative feature of a Democrat* to get called MAGA? Afraid of that?

Unsure how to feel seeing a popular, national-level politician describe an actual problem from my life. I'm not sure I've ever heard these kinds of concerns spoken aloud by anyone with power
