Loving this game so far!!!

I gave up this show after the second season (I’m sorry but whomever directed Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell failed them) but this has my ears perked up. I should note that besides Banshees of Inisherin I’ve pretty much never liked Colin Farrell tho.

When your bestie works at the book store :) @jxuawinters.bsky.social

You’re telling me I have to do things today?? Ugh

Honestly the twin tech for Parent Trap (99) is really good. Holds up.

The cackle I just experienced 😆😂😆😂

“I will never give you another cookie again!” I yell to try to stop my daughter from taking me out with a walking stick 😵‍💫

In the car the other day: “Mom. I like the BIC pen mascot because it doesn’t have a face”

My child achieving the dream of no-longer having a face. (Yes, he’s really into faceless beings so every Halloween is some manifestation of that)

Two cool ladies and a small pal. Photo from my collection, ca. 1930s.

Living my 90s dad-shirt dreams

Arms up if you love octopuses! 🐙🙋 #WorldOctopusDay Deep-sea organisms use a variety of ways to swim. Most cephalopods, like this gliding Benthoctopus sp., have the ability to move by jet propulsion. This one was observed pulsing its arms and jetting gracefully through the water.

Ugh leaf blower season

Just bawled my eyes out at parents surprising their son with Bruno Mars tickets so I think I’m just a little weary today.

I would dress as a sexy Skeksis, obviously.

I wanna go to a Halloween Party like the one the parents in Hocus Pocus go to.

here with you

Clare Turlay Newberry (1903-1970): Cat Napping, before 1940

Damn the French really get a lot of good stuff. (Except beauty standards for women -of course- are be extremely thin)

I know the 16 bean soup from Aldi is technically a knock off of the OG 15 bean but I’m just saying I’m paying less for an extra bean.

Michael Ontkean, Frank Silva, and David Lynch by Richard Beymer on the set of Twin Peaks (1991)

I hope all the fucks that get wet over memorializing 9/11 and Pearl Harbor and all that other shit feel super fucking betrayed right now while I’m stuck paying 50 dollars to fill my 10 gallon tank.

Ah yes, the totally ugly girl that’s supposed to be bullied relentlessly.

When I say becoming my friend is an acquired taste it’s not an insult to myself because it’s clearly someone who has acquired GOOD taste ok?

They still making hunger game things, huh?

M.C. Escher, Other World, 1947.

Gary Oldman in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992).

People hate on season 4 of Bridgerton but honestly it’s just as great as the others, but it’s just a deeply sad season. Anyways back to crying and doing chores

Okay, George Lucas remains a schmuck but his wife is pure class. She made him make the museum souvenirs and food cheap so that schoolchildren without much money can still have a good day, because she says she remembers how bad it felt to go on expensive field trips. It DOES.

Mexican Wine such a damn good song

Time Flies was an excellent little game. The ending even pulled my little heart strings. ❤️

My child is crying, I say to her “what’s wrong?” And she says “too much water is coming out of my eyes” 😭😭

And I will be there equally excited to my children!
