Too much politics and meta on here IMO. Is there a way I can filter out the terms “BlueSky” and “Trump”. Would make the experience much better.

RESTAURANT REVIEW: Rodney Scott’s in Birmingham, AL. Had ribs, pork (whole hog), pork shoulder , fries, baked beans. This was a spiritual experience. Solid 9/10. Rodney Scott does ribs right. Sauce is good, meat had a perfect smoke ring, baked beans were outstanding. Hats.

RESTAURANT REVIEW: Dreamland in Tuscaloosa, AL. Ribs were awesome. Pork sandwich was out of this world. Best I’ve ever had, pickles were excellent. Vibes and atmosphere were *perfect*. Price was reasonable. They heat their bbq sauce This is the real deal.

People of the Bluesky, things are a bit quiet on the work front. If you need a writer I’m available. I’ve worked for TV, radio, print, advertising - all the medias. If you need help with a corporate Christmas speech, I can add the Lolz mathew-owen.co.uk RT or whatever it is over here, please, cheers

Eye opening thread.

1/IMPORTANT thread about Bluesky funding and origins. Many folks know that it was seeded by Jack Dorsey around a libertarian vision of a magical network that wouldn’t need moderation because it would be decentralized and baked into a protocol (somehow).

Competition is good. This site is better than X/twitter so far. Twitter has too much spam in comments. If they don’t fix that, BlueSky will cannibalize them.
