Just spent better part of an hour peeling and halving the smallest Brussels sprouts I've had the 'pleasure' of working wit. I was going to warn them they'd better taste f'ing nice tomorrow, but seeing that I'll be drowning them in bacon and bacon fat, that shouldn't be a problem. #xmasdinner2025

The turkey has been butchered, the potatoes peeled, carrots peeled and quartered and the aforementioned sprouts peeled and halved. Guess I'm prepared. #xmasdinner2025

In case anyone is interested, the menu for tomorrow's #xmasdinner2025 is: - Roast Turkey Crown (covered in streaky bacon) - Gammon in Coke - Pigs in Blankets - Stuffing (Paxo, of course) - Roast Potatoes (King Edwards) - Roast Carrots and Parsnips in Maple Syrup - Gravy For 3. Burp.
