Crygus

The magic rare cheese if you're in the Midwest.

HOLY SHIT

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Holy moley. Corn flakes with vanilla ice cream should be outlawed. Why is this so good? 🤷

And here is a coyote! So this week has been filled with lots of fun animals on video from our backyard.

Our mission is to catch this entitled little tater-tot. He bullies everyone, climbs up the screen of our sliding door on a daily basis, and is a overall butt to us all. I mean, I get it - you're the chihuahua of the squirrel community, but chill, man, chill.

Check out how you can modify the Pokémon pinball machine! We made this video, please subscribe to our YouTube channel if you haven't yet! bsky.app/profile/wild...

Cars . And burgers. And lots of garage stuff on the walls. I ate a burger with peanut butter. It was decent, hadn't had that kind of burger in like 10-15 years. I mean it references jiffy and lube, so..

Found out about this fake meetup through @nyfurs.org . The "meet" is just bait to get furry hate content for a livestream known as Sam Hyde's Fishtank.

@marrokyote.bsky.social and I finally saw a film in a theater after 6-7 years: we saw Acme vs. Coyote for many reasons, and how Ketchup Entertainment is a lot like Coyote going up against Acme. But overall, very fun and entertaining film!

It's been a while since having yummy ramen. Our local Mongolian BBQ place closed down - bummer for that but at least there's ramen nearby.

Here's my little map. I need to start exploring the east coast!

A new video emerged which seems to show a surface rupture in Yatsushiro, Japan following the M6.8 earthquake in July! Exact location of the video would be 32°30'04.0"N 130°38'29.9"E. Absolutely wild. Only the second ever video of a surface rupture forming after the 2025 Myanmar video! ⚒️🧪 #geology

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

companies are sourcing millions of printed books for AI labs that scan them for training data, then destroy them. printed books are more valuable because they're free of AI slop, and AI labs know destroying them is an "optics problem." www.404media.co/ai-companies...

And here's a new entry in my segment, "Why do we have this?". This was in my tutoring center, floating around in our books in the lobby. Also, why does this exist?..

Work has been so weird for the past couple of weeks.I can't wait for this chapter of my life to end. I start my new gig in 2 weeks, but I want to triple confirm this. On the flip side I do like the whole physical activity of moving stuff out (currently helping boss close the center) I need exercise.

We are playing and livestreaming Alien pinball in 40 mintues! Stop by and say hi! bsky.app/profile/wild...

It rained and we should get more rain in a bit. It's the first time in 48 hours we've been able to go outside for more than 5 minutes due to the heavy record breaking smoke here in Detroit.

Yikes. Glad I decided not to go to work today.

Is it weird to admit that I just now realized that the sudden drops of rain are just my sweat glands on my head suddenly going into overdrive?

In capitalist America, Taco Bell is our CDC and Waffle House is our weather alert system.
