Back home after a fantastic few days of @cssday.nl and @css.cafe. I once again forgot to take selfies with people. There are probably some images flying around. I'm such an idiot. 😂 But wow, I had fun. I learned, I socialized and I have Inspiration for months to come. First a bit of sleep tho 😅

If you're in/around Amsterdam but can't make it to CSS Day, I also plan to be at the @css.cafe event that takes place the day after if you want to get a chance to hang out a bit 😊
Also, feel invited to come wind down over here in Saturday: meetu.ps/e/PQgWr/3C5m...
Our favourite conference of the year is back: CSS Day ✨ CSS legends, browser engineers, and web platform experts sharing talks on modern CSS, accessibility, design systems, browser internals, and much more. cssday.nl See you next week in Amsterdam? ☕️
If you enjoy seeing how far people can push CSS, this is pretty entertaining: March MadCSS is a tournament where frontend folks recreate UI designs using only HTML + CSS - 15 minutes per round, single elimination. madcss.com

I usually put stickers on my laptop, but since it’s almost full, I placed this one from @css.cafe on my coffee tray instead 😀
Wow – what a meetup! Huge thanks to everyone who joined our in-person gathering right after #CSSDay. Special shoutout to @miocene.io, Johannes, and Vilde for the fantastic talks. We had such a great time and hope to see you all again next year! 🙌

I saw @miocene.io give a talk (at @css.cafe) about building polished practical UI, like transitions on buttons/icons in serious business-y apps. But wait—isn't she known for CSS art, creating sculptures and paintings with a bunch of divs? Huh. It's almost like CSS skills are broadly applicable.
