i like the "force multiplier" phraseology for AI because you get out what you put in. with the right vision, intentionality, and background knowledge you can use it to make things far above your station. but if you're lazy and uninspired (which many people are) you will get lazy uninspired slop

the "problem" is that there are large swathes of lazy uninspired people whose force has now been multiplied and whose outputs have become the majority (or at least the apparent majority) of commercial AI-assisted projects, which is not fun for anyone sometimes a lowered floor is a bad thing
