People have to remember that these charges against Man City are from a Premier League inquiry, so in terms of relegation, all the Premier League can do is kick them out and it would be up to the EFL to decide if/where to accept Man City.

This could be stripping City of their titles and letting rivals sue them for loss of earnings; a genuinely massive fine (>£1bn) and paying the clubs affected out of that; large points deductions spread across multiple seasons; a lengthy (>3yrs) transfer ban; or some mixture/combination of the above.

Any less and watch every single one of the big clubs start copying City to lesser extents and being willing to take a 1-season hit in return for piles of trophies, prize money, massively-increased earnings and a bigger profile in the game. I imagine Newcastle's owners will be very interested...

This would most likely be the Championship, and I'm 100% certain City's owners would take a 1-year 'blip' to operations and barely anything would change. I think if City were kicked out of the Premier League, it would have to be just part of the punishment and further action would be needed.

Only 4 games into the Premier League season (when you'd think any points gaps would still be small at this stage) and yet Brentford in 5th place are already further away from the top of the table than they are from the relegation zone!

Despite constant updates, I'm still 100% certain Arsenal won't sign Vinícius Júnior. I think he'll lower his demands enough for Madrid to extend his contract and Arsenal will trigger Nico Williams' release clause (£80m, I think?) instead.

After yesterday, it really does feel like a close title race is being engineered. I full expect Arsenal - who have not conceded a penalty or had a player sent off in the league so far - will have a player sent off while conceding the softest penalty ever seen at some point in these last 3 games

Finished #DISPATCH earlier and liked it a lot for the most part, although a fair few flaws that could easily be ironed out in a sequel/second season. A solid 8/10 for me.

Just finished watching the first season of Star Wars: Rebels and what felt like a pretty aimless show in the first half of the season got really good in the second half, with the finale being the best episode of the season for me.

Newcastle would've been given that penalty 100%. Arsenal are treated differently when it comes to penalties - still remember Saliba having a penalty given against him for winning a header against Brighton last season...
