The sell-out Supreme Court acted to do Trump and Miller’s bidding and put TPS holders and asylum seekers at risk.  Congress must act today to protect our communities and our country. Let’s pass the Dream and Promise Act.

“Congress's top bathroom sheriff Nancy Mace is on the ballot, and while not all of the votes have been counted yet, she is in a respectful fifth place,” Sarah McBride just said. “I don't like punching down and I believe in the politics of grace. So all I will say is happy Pride, Nancy.”

So, why are the other journalists at 60 Minutes staying? Network tv is in a tailspin. What if everyone quit and went to NBC and said, “let’s build a new show called ‘1 hour’ and build something that will deliver the ratings that our old show got”? The network is determined to get rid of talent

The gop is going to keep the house. I can just kinda feel it. People aren’t angry or appalled enough. This SCOTUS ruling really kind of locks it in.

The story that Elon Musk committed voter fraud has gotten next to no coverage -- one of those things you can't make come up on a Google search. But I think it's time for Dems to go on offensive abt right wing coddling of this immigrant interfering in our elections. newrepublic.com/post/206857/...

One year ago, the idea that RMB would be positioned to replace the USD as a lead global reserve currency was all but unthinkable. But one year of Trump monetary policy has trashed the greenback and assured the rise of RMB. There is no more astonishing story of monetary mismanagement in modern times

JUST IN: CBS’s Kennedy Center Honors just hit an all-time ratings low. Preliminary Nielsen data shows only ~2.65M viewers tuned in to the Trump-hosted show, down from 4.1M in 2024. A stunning 35% year-over-year collapse.

I can’t believe I’m watching interviews of city mayors talking about how they are coordinating with other mayors to discuss how to protect their residents FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES I know we are “used to it” but it is absolutely insane

Democrats don't seem to get that Trump's been destroying our government, shutting it down every day, killing programs, clawing money back that Congress appropriated. Why on earth would they "fund" a continuation of that? Their simple argument should be Trump has already shut down the government.

The Frontline documentary “two American families” is really so powerful and so upsetting. It really threads the needle on how long people have been suffering. And it’s a powerful reminder of why PBS is so important. NO other media entity would give someone 30+ years to follow a story.

I would like to thank trump and Pam Bondi for demonstrating why the AG is appointed by the President but generally acts independently of the President. Now I just hope we survive to see the other side of this

Somehow they had a good enough relationship with El Salvador to drop off some prisoners and let Kristi Noem in for a photo shoot. But how would they ever figure out how to get the prisoners we loaned them back? Hell is too good for these monsters

Assuming we are able to ever elect another democratic president… that person will have a choice of two paths: 1: there are no norms or rules, so I will do the liberal version of what trump did. Or… 2: we have vested too much power in the executive and I want congress to take it away from me
