Last year, Trump promised American oil executives “a great deal” if they donated $1 billion to his campaign. Today, he gave them Venezuela — home to the largest oil reserves in the world. This new war is not only illegal and reckless; it is deeply corrupt.

There is no Dem who thinks that Schumer voting No washes his hands of it. He is the captain of the ship and owns the process and end result. If he can’t run the team, then someone else needs to. Hopefully the other Dem senators understand the mood of the voters. If not, you will.

Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.

Not quite true. Their whole messaging will be that Dems voted for it and their sheep will believe it’s our fault. We, on the other hand, will defend ourselves in a vacuum since we can’t build an actual influencer network. #cowards #dems #inept

The only political accomplishment out of this for Dems is that when health insurance skyrockets for 22 million Americans in 42 days, it will be clear to even low information voters that Republicans are the ones responsible. Whether that makes all this worth it remains to be seen.

So Elon spends $1 billion on Tesla shares. His purchase drives up investor confidence and further boosts share value. Rising Tesla share value is integral to his new compensation package, which could end up making him the first trillionaire. Is it any wonder why so many think the game is rigged?

Elon Musk bought $1 billion worth of Tesla shares, according to a regulatory filing he made today. The purchase represents a rare action – by Musk or any other CEO. Few business leaders using their own money to buy their company’s stock without exercising of options: https://cnn.it/48e6iWw

"We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both." –Justice Louis Brandeis Words spoken many years ago that are just as relevant today. We must continue the fight to get big money out of politics.

This x1,000%. Add in no longer trying to be the world’s cop, and it’ll draw a lot of voters back to the party.

Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare. Busting up big corporations and tackling Wall Street’s greed. Getting big money out of politics. Supporting unions and fighting for higher wages. If Dems want to win back working people, this is the agenda they must support.

It’s a shame that so many Republicans vote for something they know will hurt their constituents & the country simply because they are afraid that Trump will threaten them if they don’t go along with it, & they are more concerned about his vindictiveness than they are about them.

If Christian Nationalist parents are allowed to have their kids opt-out of any books that dare mention anyone gay, then all the other parents should be allowed to let their kids opt-out from the Ten Commandments.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers. Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they? Hello?

So what say you, #Congress?

By disregarding his own intelligence advisors that Iran was *not* about to have nuclear weapons, Donald Trump has, without any justification whatsoever, provoked Iran to retaliate against American troops in the Middle East and American civilians at home. He is a irresponsible, simpleminded idiot.

I think we are dangerously underestimating how many jobs we will lose to AI and how deep the spiritual cost will be. The industry tells us strong restrictions on AI will hurt us and help China. I wrote this to explain how they pulling one over on us. www.chrismurphyct.com/p/in-our-scr...

There is no nuclear weapons program. Fetterman’s pals in the Trump administration - including DNI Gabbard - have confirmed there is no nuclear weapons program. Fetterman is lying. Openly. Demonstrably. Shamelessly.

I'm trying to imagine a Democratic president saying openly and proudly that he would be sending federal agents to target the 'Republican Power Center' in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee. We would be in the midst of a civil war before he'd finished saying those words.

Trump declares war on cities “We must expand efforts to detain & deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as LA, Chicago, & NY, where Millions of Illegal Aliens reside. These, & other Cities, are core of the Dem Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base”
