Any response to the increase in ICE raids shouldn't give them any reason to try and federalize the National Guard or deploy Marines. That being said, I think New York, Illinois, and California need to start holding back the revenue they provide the federal govt - no more subsidizing red states.

Increase state taxes up to whatever limit folks can deduct on their federal taxes. That money then goes to the state. This will work until some Trump EO or Republican-controlled legislation changes the SALT deduction so blue states aren't allowed it.

We have the Senate - which has 2 reps for each state. And we have the House - which allocates reps based on population. Population is the number of people actually living in that state, regardless of legal status. Higher population = more reps in the House.
