So the whole "command squad" from the Armageddon box is now finished. Great models, all of them, with lots of character, and a lot of fun to paint!

Finally found time to finish my Weirdboy! Took a little while but I'm quite happy with how he turned out.

It’s time for more ducks! A new campaign to launch the first in our 28mm metal Renaissance duck range. Sign up to be notified at the launch, which is soon! www.kickstarter.com/projects/far... #nerdlings #miniatures #wargaming #indieminis

Got a #MESBG game day coming up, so I was inspired to paint some reinforcements for my goblins. Fell Wargs! #middle-earth

I’ve now lived so much longer than I would ever have expected to that I feel I’m living in the future. This is when I imagined Neuromancer happening. And now the creators of today’s AI warn us that it threatens humanity.

The Warboss from the Armageddon box is finally done. I love these new orks, they are so enjoyable to paint. And he's an absolute unit! #orks #warhammer #40k #armageddon #minipainting #miniaturepainter

No cheating. Share the last picture of the sky from your camera roll.

How I paint checks: Use a piece of masking tape as a guide to make a grid of thin lines. Fill every other square. Covert left over lines with background colour. Add weathering (washes, sponging etc.) to tie it all together. 'Ere we gooo!

My beloved Blood Angels complete 3rd Company with support elements - my first 40K army. I started this army with Rogue Trader in 1988, and and expanded it up to about 4th Edition. Big parts of this army are RTB01s. The've earned retirement. #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #nerdlings #oldhammer

Made some terrain for the ships to fight over. Styrofoam balls from the hobby store stuck on bamboo skewers, a layer of plaster, then painted like gas giants. The lines on the first one were a little bit wonky, before I learned I could use a rubber band as a guide. #BFG #battlefleetgothic

Painted my Chaos cruisers from the OG box set. I've left the antennas and possible dorsal weapons off for now because they seem a bit too fiddly to magnetise. Will decide on them later. #BFG #Battlefleetgothic

Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli.

Progress! The Bannernob is finally done! #warhammer #warhammercommunity #armageddon #minipainting #miniaturepainting

Little side project, decided to paint up the ships of the BFG box i bought at launch but never played. Recently a guy at the local club showed interest in BFG and I felt maybe the time has finally come. The Chaos cruisers are up next.

So, I’m going to be auctioning the We Are Legion Diorama (below) with all money (rounded up to the nearest £50/100) going to The Alzheimer’s Society. Auction will be going up on Saturday and run for a week - will post the link when it’s up. It’d be great if you could all bid and spread the word!

First ork from the Armageddon box done! Da Bigboss! #warhammer #warhammercommunity #armageddon #minipainting #miniaturepainting

Painted up the only (?) Ork release of 10th edition! Looking forward to 11th! Gave him a couple of fancy hair squigs to match my other two Big Meks and magnitized his gun (yea thanks GW for intentionally making it difficult with shared components) #warhammercommunity #minipainter #miniaturepainting

Don't let anyone talk you out of buying that model. That box of models could be the most life-changing army you've ever gotten.

We're da greenest and da meanest! Snakebitez Waaaaaaagh!!

I LOVE THEM ALL!

Alright! More stuff that has been sitting half finished on the shelf for a long time is finally done - my Burnas! Let's hope they get some decent rules in 11th, they've sucked for the last 4 editions!

How I arrived on Bluesky

Another Vivamort cultist. He’s one of the cults guard dogs, mortals who serve in the hope they get bit one day and become a vampire. Love the dynamism on this guy. All but the kiddos are @fenrisgames.com sculpted by @mad-elf.bsky.social

What’s that Lassy? Timmy’s fallen down a well? Screw him, he egged my house at Halloween. How’s that for a trick you little sod? Egyptian hunting dog from Dark Fable. Retiring soon so get ‘em while you can. She’s sidekick to a hunter I’m painting. www.dragon-bait-minis.com/shop/miniatu...

Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.

Seems like Terminators have grown a bit in size since I last painted one back in 1995

Ok, I'm finally done with these grumpy old men!

Another member of the Vivamort vampire cult. This one’s a guard, a mortal initiate who serves in the hope one day they‘ll become an immortal acolyte. I think when the 4 guards are together with the antlered leader they’ll look spectacular. From @fenrisgames.com Dark Fable and Barbaric splendour.

Here’s my newest piece of needle felted terrain, around 30cm square! Lots of wool, lots of sharp needles going into fingers and a fair bit of unladylike language :-) I really love making these! #needlefelting

Quote with your horn art! This guy's got a nice pair...

Post a banger that isn't in English... Bob Hund! youtu.be/dO_sslo8Bhg?...

Aargh, it's been too long without any hobby progress now so I thought I'd share some WIP photos of the Wolf Guard I'm currently painting (at a glacial pace). Bodies are more or less done - on to arms and heads!
