My dad, a MAGA-adjacent (he's 84) watched The Apprentice streaming. He said it made Trump look like a genius, smartest man in the world. Either he only watched 15 m of it, or he's definitely gone off the deep end. I've watched 30 m, and wow. I see why Trump sent cease/desist letter, too on the nose

It’s 1973 and you’ve been given the opportunity to create your own music festival using only six of these performers. Which six are you choosing?

I’ve followed this story for its absurdity and as an illustration of how police lie and bully the public they are supposed to protect. Only after national media attention do they withdraw a case of accusing a woman of something she can’t possibly have done… cbs12.com/news/local/f...

The video was banned by MTV, and Gina Arnold of Entertainment Weekly stated, "On songs like the cynical 'Jesus Christ Pose' ... Soundgarden sound a hell of a lot smarter than their peers, who seldom get beyond extolling booze, girls, and cars."

The USPS is not a business, why can't Repubs understand that?

We’ve lost all concept of this, but government services are not supposed to be profit making enterprises. government services are not publicly traded corporations. They are, and I can’t stress this enough, government services

This is a sad day, on top of everything else that's going on. We had to say goodbye to the sweetest cat Big Boy. Taken in 11 years ago, he's probably 16-17 years old. His body has just given out. We knew this day would come, but it doesn't make it any easier. This is from 2023.

Got back home yesterday (Monday), stayed an extra day for some pain management issues. This is definitely one of those things where the cure is worse than the disease. Only incision pain, but boy is it bad.
