Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

A short, creepy game with some truly wild horror ideas wrapped around the mundanity of sorting mail (for the devil). The Mairoom is really cool and it’s out next week. My review: www.consolecreatures.com/the-mailroom...

For the first time I'm going to attempt to document all the games I've completed this year (not on the N64, for that you can check out @remember64show.bsky.social) 2026 here we go:

freaking fantastic game! I was worried early on that the sense of speed would be hard to handle, but the game does a great job of easing you into that experience and throws in quite a few great story beats as well. Definitely one of my favs of 2026

We all knew some bullshit was going to happen. And here it is. The beginning of the end of creativity, jobs, and actually caring about your people and the consumers who love(d) the work.

Nothing against these games specifically (I haven't played them)... but oooof Game Pass is sliding real fast with minimal offerings like this

Just got past ep. 4 of Carrie I’m a massive Flanagan fan and my wife now knows why. I love that she’s into this show as well. Not totally sure where it goes, but I’m enjoying it quite a bit!

PSA: The latest NVIDIA App update adds a Default-ON option that allows AI Agents to control the app... Might want to turn it off.. Even aside from being lame AI features, that feels like making security even worse by defaulting it ON.

Me as I consider getting Resonant NOW when I'm already playing 2 Zelda games, Onimusha, and RE9.......

“How many in-progress single-player games at once is *too* many?” he pondered as he contemplated starting Control Resonant while partway through Starfield, Wolverine and Star Wars Zero Company… 🤔

Finally got to watch this, and cannot express enough my admiration for Mikhail for so carefully and exhaustively bringing the threads together, and for PMG for publishing a story so many games journalists are familiar with but, as the story explores, might be nervous to talk about publicly

For nearly two years, I've been investigating a pattern of ominous legal letters sent to journalists by defamation counsel representing Bobby Kotick. That investigation is finally live. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKwp...

Sure not everyone minds if a story is spoiled. But for me, games/movies/tv shows that have so many wild and original ideas should remain hush-hush for at least a few weeks.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy CONTROL Resonant totally fresh, and to help make that a reality we ask you to not share story details on your social media without clear warnings. We can't wait to hear what you all think when the game releases this Thursday! #CONTROLResonant

Recent example is the latest Spidey film. I had NO idea (you know who) was cast. So when they popped up as a key character, I was pleasantly surprised and really excited to see where it went. For me, that paid off and I don't think I would've enjoyed that particular theatre experience otherwise.
