The mnemonic for the Great Lakes would then be SHAME. A perfect metaphor for 2026.

Every person I have ever let borrow "The Best of Leonard Cohen" has become a diehard Leonard Cohen fan.

This #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday is a real mixed bag. The Devil's Mouth and All Night Wrong were both fun, but forgettable. Blood and Black Lace is the giallo GOAT. My wife described Zoe as 'sex robot mumblecore'. Great actors couldn't save a boring script and bad direction/cinematography

Question for 3D printing folks: My wife made a box for my Conan TTRPG cards with a logo on it. Looks great in person, but is blurry in pics. If I shoot at an angle it's less blurry, but never great. What's happening? The divider text is fine in pics, unlike the top #3dprinting #3dprint #rpg #ttrpg

Tickled to be the 345th 🤖 on BackerKit for GROK?! 2e: A Gonzo Science Fantasy RPG. Thanks @gandergaming.bsky.social!

The #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday was a big hit! R.Rex was a Last Drive-In w/Joe Bob. The rest are some of the best I've seen all year! Backrooms: well-done if kinda predictable. Robin Hood: 1 of Jackman's "sad dad" series that I am very seated for. Holy cow! Obsession! Super recommend it!

This gun’s for hire, even if we’re just…

My #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday is mostly hits once more! After I watched Hokum, I immediately had to watch Caveat. Now I've seen and loved all of McCarthy's movies. I knew Kill Bill: the Whole Bloody Affair would be fun since I've seen each part. Sadly, not even Karl Urban could save MKII

Boooooooy howdy, @amerrill2.bsky.social! This new movie sure is spoooooky!

My #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday is mostly hits! Quick & the Dead was 100% Raimi. They Will Kill You wasn't what I expected: I loved it. Sheep Detectives was going to be a film from the studio that made Felidae (1994)?! Can't imagine how that would've gone. Abraham's Boys was the only dud.

If you see this, post an archer.

This #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday is a bit all over. First, "Master & Commander" to follow along with @blankcheck.bsky.social. Next, two low-budget movies that I think could've been good if they'd had bigger budgets. Last, "The Bride!" which is the only one of the four I regret watching.

"The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to 'Murder She Wrote' on CBS 8pm EST."

It's #LetterboxdFriday and this week's #LastFourWatched really shows that we've been on a sleazy thriller kick. But I dare you to say something bad about movies with Debbie Harry, Martin Kemp, or Eric Bogosian! (Daisy Ridley is really good too, but that doesn't belong in the thriller genre)

This article is really getting people's dander up, but publishers have been doing this since the 1950s in series like Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. And more than just changing references, rewriting entire parts of the books.

Yeah, this actually tracks. Can I tell you about my Shadowrun 1e character? No? How about my MERP guy or my Champions 4e hero?!

this is my UNHINGED rpg for TRUE SICKOS. only FREAKS get how DERANGED it is. if you're not a REAL PERVERT or ESOTERIC DEGENERATE you won't get it. it scares off NORMIES and CHUDS by being TOTALLY RADICAL. it's EXPERIMENTAL and AVANT-GARDE and OUTRAGEOUS and OUTRE. how do you play? okay roll 2d6

Hey, look at Substack promoting Andrew Tate as the #1 new bestseller. The company's amoral leadership & backers will platform anyone, even ludicrously toxic rapists & human traffickers.

This #LetterboxdFriday I can't help but see that some of my #LastFourWatched are actually "Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs" episodes. Next week's probably going to be even more of the same thing!

Looking forward to the new ᑐ ᑌ ᑎ ᑢ movie! Even if it does seem like they're gonna use some nontraditional source material.

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched A lot of horror this go around. Number five was Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. If you're going to watch one remake of a classic horror novel made in 2025 and starring Christoph Waltz, holy cow make it that instead of Luc Besson's Dracula.
