Seeing The Devils three times in a week because it is a beautiful remaster of a horrific movie and I will do my part to encourage studios to keep resurrecting their neglected titles.

Don’t know what stage of Sad Boy Autumn I hit that resulted in me eating in a Burger King, but I promise to be a benevolent ruler (even my head is too big for the crown.)

Really didn’t like Wolverine game. I gave it a far shot, had fun in the middle, but I thought the story was stupid and the combat clunky and I never got to feel empowered and dangerous the way I would have wanted to.

Ok, I got some potentially big news career wise that I can’t share yet, but please cross all your crossables, offer up a prayer, do a little ritual, etc. for me.

My dad listened to a lot of country music. Steel Magnolias takes place and was filmed in the Louisiana town where my family is from. Dolly Parton as a musician, actress, and public figure has been a part of my life since I can remember, always brimming with kindness, wit, and talent. RIP.

Mostly posting on Threads, but I will try to remember to post here more often: How I spent my summer vacation: -Jewelry broke during a screening of The Blair Witch Project. -Wrote a scary story about an animatronic dinosaur -Swam in the dark a lot in the face of both those things.

There’s a book YouTuber (who I won’t name for reasons that are about to be very apparent) who films himself reading from this low angle with his spread legs front and center. And maybe the heat has me feral, but…

So like one of my Beta readers said my novel gave him the same sense of wonder as Harry Potter if you want a story of a gay weirdo witch and his vampire boyfriend written by a gay weirdo who is also a staunch trans ally. It’s purely ethical consumption.

Got called fat and stupid all day yesterday for saying Ghibli animation is superior in every way to the AI slop ripoff version of the same. But I wake up looking like this so I am unbothered and hot.

The worst reactions I ever got were a toss up between a guy telling me I wanted Tarantino to suck my toes over The Hunger Games and someone telling me I had a pedophile beard for the cone thing. The most insane response was someone telling me I hated Jewish trans women for being anti-anti-kink.

I still post there more because I get more engagement. And Suzanne Collins is lying and if nothing else read a treatment for or even heard about the American remake of Battle Royale that was going around when she was still a TV writer.

Things people have gotten mad at me over on Threads: *wanting a cone for my dog *being pro-kink at Pride *thinking Suzanne Collins* is lying about the Battle Royale influence *saying legal age gap relationships aren’t all coerced/abusive* *On that note, Mamdani’s wife was old enough to date him

*Anti-(legal)kink people use similar arguments to Christian fundamentalists. *Clapping back at a Gen Z friend of mine who blamed millennials our current environmental crisis. *Saying that a therapist expecting you to make your sessions lighthearted is actually a sign of a bad therapist.

If I made a running list of the most homophobic things that have happened to me personally, the consistent #6 would be that awful cover for the Criterion Collection edition of Querelle. Like it’s 4d homophobia to insult Jean Genet, Fassbinder, Brad Davis, and Tom of Finland all at the same time.
