for example, I’m proud of the way I came up with for skepsis to integrate with ah. it also works with agents without ah, you just need the right command. I didn’t want to build anything too agent-specific into it, there were already people using it as a self-contained tool

conputer dipshit@davidcrespo.bsky.social

now with fully harness-agnostic --send <cmd> flag that lets you send comments to an agent instead of writing them in the file. not released yet, just on main. I love this solution because skepsis doesn't know anything about the agent, it just pipes the comment someplace

like I say in How It Works, the web tools are flashy but really incidental — they could be TUIs or native apps. the core of ah is the routing to agents. here I have Helix in the terminal with a comment box that ah routes to the Claude Code on the left because it's the only agent in that tab

I’m glad this comes across; I could stand to emphasize it more in the readme intro. the server is there to abstract over the ways different harnesses receive messages so the tools can talk to each other in a loosely coupled and pluggable way

The Unix harness. It's drawing near. Small composable tools that work together needs to make a comeback against the slop towers in the harness space

it's a mistake to think differential capability has to be proportional in some clear way to the price difference. an edge that appears small can be worth 10x if what is valuable to the customer is that edge

this point about confidence is one reason I think frontier models will be able to keep charging a premium for a while. even on a task where Fable and K3 do the same thing, what you’re paying for is extra confidence that it’s right, and that’s worth a lot more to people than it sounds like

just last week I was struggling with an impossible task: what to eat for lunch. I love cracking a hard problem but this was just overwhelming. So I asked my personal AI assistant. It said "sandwich," which was just perfect. I had it place the order on Uber Eats and 45 minutes later I was eating.

I think this is a marketing strategy we will be seeing more and more, which I’m hereby coining the Dumbass Gambit.

Lula: "We had to overcome foreign interference through digital platforms, which we will have to regulate. A crime in the digital world must be treated the same as a crime in the real world. We cannot have monstrous companies earning millions... not paying taxes... wanting to steer elections."

In Brazil, it appears that voters who opted for eliminated first-round candidates roughly broke even in the runoff (even if the candidates leaned right). But the big difference was: Millions of voters who cast 'null' or 'blank' ballots in the first round then voted for Lula.

also good to know: customers spending more than $100k a year are 74% of their revenue. so when people say they don't understand where the money is coming from, it's not your friend's $20 claude sub, it's all businesses

one of zitron's lines about ARR was that it doesn't tell you anything because they could be churning all their revenue

Net revenue retention of *900%* is completely off the charts. That's as-of Sept 30, definition below.

oh this was my favorite. if they were profitable in Q2 it was only because of an imaginary discount he misread into the SpaceX S-1

good example here of him being deliberately dense. by far the most likely interpretation here is that what anthropic is paying is proportional to the capacity they're using as they ramp up to the full scale of the deal. so it's not really a discount, it's just paying proportional to their use

Symbol of the night so far: State of Minas Gerais is typically presented as THE swing state. It voted for Lula by 0.4% in the 2022 runoff; then, swung to Bolsonaro, who won it 48% to 43% in round 1. A third of the precincts have been counted so far, & results have been 50.0-50.0 for a while.
