It’s very simple and it’s been said over and over but I guess it needs saying continuously: if you deem one group too small to have equal rights you are enabling fascism, not fighting it. The people saying Dems are GREAT on trans rights are not paying attention and/or saying stuff like this.

I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

I’m just going through the essential album and I keep coming across this experience of “oh I’ve heard this song before!” I had the same experience with Queen. And some people might say “oh it’s because their music is very overplayed!”. Yeah, because it’s good.
