The normalization of corruption is not surprising but it is truly disgusting. institutions charged with holding public servants to account must do their jobs. The ends do not justify the means. Violating the public trust should receive very severe penalties. We must do better.

Public broadcasting is just about the only place one can go now for varied, in depth stories and analysis that doesn’t involve talking heads yelling at each other. And it’s far more than politics. There are many stories of general interest that you’ll hear nowhere else. Would be a terrible blow.

A piece of advice from an old retired soldier to the commanders and leaders currently serving: Review the regulations & policies addressing political behavior when wearing the uniform, and then address those standards with your teams.

Due process helps me to decide if the power being used in my name is just and worthy of my support. Without it I am being asked to trust those in power. That is a big ask!

This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position. Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

It’s unreal - the DOD deleted its page for Charles Calvin Rodgers, a Medal of Honor recipient who was wounded three times while defending against three assaults on his base in Vietnam. Now the URL includes “DEI Medal of Honor.” There’s something about Rodgers I don’t even have to tell you

Just restating the simple point: President lacks the constitutional authority to close a department created by Congress. Full stop. Both the creation and on-going funding of these Depts are LAWS not suggestions. This is criminal conduct. www.wsj.com/politics/pol... via @WSJ
