Roger Marshall swore an oath as a physician to do no harm. He has spent his entire political career doing nothing but harm.

Bock Sam@bocksam.bsky.social

There is no such thing as a random coincidence when it comes to Roger Marshall. Come on Kansas!!

I'm waiting for Dementia Donald to claim National Security to build his narcissistic vanity golf course in WDC. This photo shows what Trump did after the judge demanded Trump notify them before they cut down more than 10 trees IN OUR PUBLIC GOLF COURSE, THAT WE OWN. I count more than 10.

In celebration - the occasion will require that with which humans have celebrated auspicious events since the good Dom described drinking stars! I will keep the grand cru for dinner, but the first response of perhaps the whole world will be to open a special bottle of Champagne.

champagne 🤔

literally Republicans have NOTHING other than spreading fear about socialism, Islam, teachers performing surgery, and trans athletes. No policies, no plans, just sowing irrational fear. There is not a single person who is willing to have an R by their name on a ballot that deserves a single vote.

CBS deleted this post and reposted it admitting that their original one was misleading. And the misleading post from CBS was intentionally misleading, not an innocent mistake. CBS continues to lose credibility.

the precision and wit with which they respond to substantive criticism is amazing.

JD Vance's speech in Kansas is interrupted by a protester. Vance responds by saying "all the Democrats are selling is a fat load of bullshit"

when thinking about the nightmarish kitsch that has been installed in the Oval Office, and the desecration of the people's house in which Trump is currently squatting, please remember the difference between the architect Gaudi, and the adjectival inspiration for Trump's decor, Gaudy (or gaudawful?)

This is your reminder that there's no such thing as a perfect candidate and while complaining is totally valid, harm reduction is incredibly important and you should still vote! ❤️❤️❤️

But lets also recognize that it also reflects the Dr. Annie is a truly exceptional candidate who will bring great intelligence and an ability to bridge divides, and her experience as a pediatrician in dealing with toddlers and bratty behavior will come in handy wrt Trump.

Mrs. Betty Bowers@mrsbettybowers.bsky.social

This is a rare moment of bipartisanship. And a reliable indication that Darline Graham is a horrible, inexperienced nepo-candidate.

Trump is BIG MAD about Obama saying the White House now looks like Saddam opened a Cheesecake Factory: "He's not a smart guy. He's not smart at all ... for you to say it's a Cheesecake Factory, that just shows why you were a lousy president"

it is hard to argue that Minaj receiving classified briefings presents a greater security risk than Donald J. Trump receiving classified briefings. Minaj has failed to pay people to whom she owed money. So did Trump. Minaj's husband is a felon, but so it Trump. All norms lay in ruins.

Put aside credentials or the insanity of the idea for the moment. She would have to get a security clearance. Relying only on public sources, I see three distinct issues. 1) She admitted in 2023 to past misuse of prescription medication. Not clear how long ago it occurred. That would need

How could the Bishops possibly have known their participation in a prayer service in the Oval Office a week before an election would be politicized? The bible says to be cunning as a serpent and gentle as a dove, I don't recall any admonition recommending being dumb as a dodo.

Christopher Hale@christopherjhale.bsky.social

NEW: Bishop William Joensen of Des Moines said the White House used a private prayer with President Trump “for partisan political purposes.” Milwaukee Archbishop Jeffrey Grob apologized Sunday. Pressure is building on the remaining 10 bishops to walk back their participation.

Absolutely - assuring workers of continuous income if the business by which they are employed is no longer sustainable. is a legitimate function of government. Insuring wealthy owner and stockholders against loss is not.

If people do their job, the lines for voting should be quite long on Nov. 3, perhaps they should make efforts to keep people entertained while the wait. Does anyone have interest in volunteering to be a poll dancer?

I went to Catholic school in Birmingham, Alabama in the 60's, which unlike public schools, was fully integrated. What kids need is empathy, a subject that is actually taught in Denmark. We don't need ten commandments, we do need love your neighbor as yourself, and respect for all cultures.

I grew up Catholic & went to parochial schools , but am now an atheist . Anyone advocating for putting religion/ Bible in schools needs to listen. Our kids don’t need religion.

NEW: An order of New York nuns founded in 1817 has rebuked the bishops who laid hands on President Trump. “Images carry messages,” the Sisters of Charity wrote. “Silence carries messages, too.” The nuns have a powerful ally in Pope Leo XIV, who has put women at the center of his leadership.

thelettersfromleo.comNew York Nuns Rebuke the 12 Bishops Who Prayed Over TrumpSisters of Charity, who have served immigrants since 1817, asked where the poor were in the Oval Office. More than 1,800 have signed our letter asking the bishops to apologize to Pope Leo XIV.

If we would have listened to bernie we would not be where we are, He is trying to unite us - even if we know his claims about the good intentions of others are false, if we can come together by accepting them let us do so. Bernies policies will lead to a better America.

Bernie Sanders: "I know conservative parents want to raise their kids to be honest, not to be bullies, not to lie and cheat all of the time. If we want to raise our kids to be honest, not to be narcissists who think the world revolves around them, then we need to hold Donald Trump accountable."

overly generous is an exceedingly nice way of putting it

Global Patriot@b21raider.bsky.social

I think he's been very overly generous to conservative parents. They are more like closet fascists. But it might be clever politics to say this. Some conservatives might be shamed into staying home and not voting.

on the one hand, thank you Bishop Grob, on the other, what were you thinking going to the white house less than two weeks before an election to prey with (not a typo!) a president known for manipulation?

When McCain shut down a woman accusing Obama of not being patriotic, he did so knowing he had policies, as did Obama, and the debate was about which policies the American people wanted to see implemented. Rogers can't afford to acknowledge his opponent's humanity because he has no policy proposals.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Asked to response to Trump's vile and false smears of El-Sayed, Mike Rogers can't defend them, so instead he pivots to attacking "the national press"

Amy would have seemed self-serving in an add she made about her rough childhood because her father was a rapist, her mother chose her abuser over her and she fought to protect her brother. Vivek did it for her.

I love it for Ramaswamy that he has tanked his entire political career and made Amy Acton a classic study in courage with one, single ad drop.
