Mike Collins runs on “tough on crime.” His convoy captains include Michael Boggus, state director of a group founded by Klan leader Chester Doles, and a man who admitted sexual battery of a child. Collins’ campaign says it was unaware. Nobody vetted 800 volunteers?

Netflix is laying off 1,000 workers — its largest layoff ever.
In 2025, Netflix had a net income of $11 billion (up 26%).
Its CEO was paid $53M (255x more than the median employee).
And it just raised prices for the second time in just over a year.

And now this.
Whose side is he on?
Another disastrous decision that puts tRump in a very questionable situation regarding who he allies himself with.
My oldest daughter, who is also an attorney, has said these things to me as well. When your life is built around the law, all of these blatant criminal acts must be even more frustrating.
Hawaii enacted a law that could neuter Citizens United.
Montana could soon follow suit via a ballot referendum.
Here's what you should know about the plans to get Big Money out of politics — and how they could be replicated where you live.
All Republicans have to offer voters in the midterms is failure, lies, corruption, cover ups, fear mongering, name calling, enrichment of oligarchs, christian nationalism, racism, data centers everywhere, flock cameras, higher prices, new wars and fake bribes. Hell of a platform.
Just saw a political ad with tRump talking his usual nonsense, at the end in a graphic it stated that it was paid by the U.S. government. Where does the U.S. government get its money? From the taxpayers, if he wants to air commercials he needs to pay out of his pocket not ours.

Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace
Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs
Folks, we’ve seen this all before.
Don't be fooled into thinking that a "free market" only exists when corporations get to "self-regulate" and do whatever they want.
And don't be led to think that the government is "intruding" into the market when it crafts laws to protect the public.
The real issue is power — and who has it.
The New York Times did not blink.
The Times: “We won’t be issuing a retraction."
But they didn't stop there. "This is another all too common example of the president lashing out at coverage he doesn’t like and belittling journalists who report the facts.”
As most of are watching the 9/11 25th Memorial from NYC, the presenters need to remember that this is remembrance of the fallen and not their personal political views.
May God bless all the souls lost that day and beyond and their families.
"I think the environment should be put in the category of our national security. Defense of our resources is just as important as defense abroad. Otherwise what is there to defend?
-- Robert Redford, born #OTD 1936
It wasn't "Joe Biden's inflation". It was the result of COVID and started with Trump. Biden brought it back under control until Trump made it worse again.
When the banks needed help, they called it “stabilizing the economy.”
When airlines needed help, they called it “protecting jobs.”
When corporations got tax breaks, they called it “pro-growth.”
When working people need health care? “SOCIALISM.”
