Been playing my most recent retro game acquisitionsball night... Took me longer than I thought it would to acquire Pokemon Pinball with an intact battery door but A&C Games in Toronto had the hookup...

They're back home! Meowdalorian enjoyed her stay but Cupcake never got fully comfortable. Meowdalorian has been acting like normal at home but Cupcake hasn't forgiven me yet and is giving us the cold shoulder. I totally understand though, poor little cat.

Tbh this is also all they ever do at home. Meowdalorian does act dramatically if I'm on calls too much too, for example she will shut the door of my office on herself and then pretend she can't get out on her own in an effort to get me to pay attention to her. Poor baby lol

I got to spend some time with a lot of the people I love most attending some weddings. Just flying back to my place now and then it's back to business! I feel so fortunate and I'm happy for everyone's happiness.

I love Hobonichi Techo books and I use them as a daily journal but tbh every year I look at the new cover reveals hoping to see one I really love only to stick with the cover I've had for like a decade, I'm too attached to it at this point!

I've been quiet but things have been really, really good. Absolutely loving my new job (the people are sooooo cool and the work is super interesting), been studying a lot, playing a lot of games, spending a lot of quality time with my family this year, have made some new friends this year too.

Excited to announce I've started in my new role as a Senior Gameplay Designer at Epic Games. I've had an amazing first couple of days and I'm really, really looking forward to working with such an incredible group of people.

Broke out the Tumblr to write some thoughts on the BioWare situation, and how despite it being divisive, The Veilguard may have just become one of the most important games in the studio's catalog. It's the final word from a team that wanted the world (both ours and Thedas) to be better.

Shout out to a real one. Good job with all the Star Wars FPS madness! You did great things, and we all learned a ton together. Thanks for always looking out for people and always pushing things into excellence. Excited for what you do next; your new team is lucky to have you!

Today was my last day at Respawn. I had a fantastic time there. Shout out to the Bots team on Apex and my pals from the Star Wars FPS project, as well as all of the other friends I made along the way. I wish all of you the very best! I do have something else lined up! Ill be talking about it soon.

If you see this, quote with your first ever anime. It was Samurai Pizza Cats, an anime adapted after they got the rights but never received the scripts, so they made up the entire dub... It's pretty funny though.

If you see this, quote with your first ever anime. Robotech! I didn't know until much later what they'd done to Macross, but Robotech absolutely blew my mind as a kid. It has a special place in my heart.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard came out yesterday. I just wanted to show off my credit on this title and extend my congratulations to all of my BioFriends (both current, and elsewhere) for the successful launch.
