I don’t get it. If the tariffs are great for America and are bringing back manufacturing and are one of Trump’s signature policies, why won’t the Republicans who refused to overturn them even mention them?
"It was the second time in two years that the president authorized billions of dollars in bailout money for farmers harmed by his administration’s policies" www.nytimes.com/2026/10/20/b...
I don’t understand why farmers need an endless series of welfare payments from the rest of us since Trump took office. Aren’t his policies working for you? You need us to pay you so you will keep voting for the guy who is failing you? Don’t you believe in free market capitalism?
Netflix is laying off 1,000 workers — its largest layoff ever.
In 2025, Netflix had a net income of $11 billion (up 26%).
Its CEO was paid $53M (255x more than the median employee).
And it just raised prices for the second time in just over a year.
Corporate greed in a nutshell.
JD Vance running around the country saying he’s fighting health care fraud while his nominee for the senate in TX who he completely supports is partying in Dubai with a guy whole stole over $300 million in health care fraud and gave Paxton $190,000. This is the Republican Party.
Trump just threw a massive lifeline to Vladimir Putin. And to do it, he’s breaking the law.
Back in 2022, Congress banned Russian energy imports. I voted for it. The law says the president has to consult Congress before he changes anything. He didn’t. Illegal. Deadly. Disgraceful.

When an Iranian drone struck Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, on March 1st, there were no sirens, no air defenses, and no plan to care for the wounded. Six American service members were killed that day, and the ones who survived are now speaking out. They all deserve better. apnews.com/article/iran...
Dear Eric Schmitt: Other places where Jack Smith was not on February 3 —

I don't say this lightly, but Pete Hegseth deserves to be impeached. I understand just how serious a vote to impeach is from experience, and I still believe impeaching him is the right thing to do.
The Iran war. The purge of senior ranks. The boat strikes.
The case is overwhelming. (Link below)

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:
Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down
Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace
Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs
Folks, we’ve seen this all before.
- 'wolverine' is a marketing term
- eight members, a narrow majority of the new FDA panel, voted in favor of allowing pharmacies to sell untested and previously unapproved peptides
- seven members operate or work for clinics or businesses selling peptide treatments

The VP wants nothing more than a promotion in 2028. Thursday showed again why he doesn’t deserve it.
Upon arriving at the briefing room, it took him only 40 minutes to contradict his boss, insult the American military, and ask the country to feel grateful about gas prices going up.

Dr. Vin Gupta, an actual health expert, just dismantled RFK Jr.’s entire health agenda piece by piece.
Medicaid cuts. NIH trials canceled. Environmental protections gutted. "Lots of marketing, little substance" on food policy.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro says RFK Jr. offered federal help after two unvaccinated people died from measles, the first U.S. deaths this year. Shapiro declined, saying PA could handle it, and confronted Kennedy, telling him: “There’s real life consequences to spreading misinformation.”
A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs.
Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year.
If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.

James Talarico: "I have a legislative record, Ken Paxton has a criminal record. He doesn't serve us, he serves himself. Since taking office, he has become a multimillionaire on a government salary. His net worth has increased 7000% while the pay of Texans is the same."

I never thought for a single second that credible domestic violence and child abuse allegations were a deal breaker for Trump and the Republican Party.
I will be direct: Here how you can help me.
1. Spread the word about the threats to democracy and free and fair elections.
2. Tell everyone to subscribe to Democracy Docket and share its content. demdock.com/4w6emld
Schiff: "He waited until he became president. Why did he wait to bring this $10b lawsuit? He waited so he would have the power of the presidency to leverage the IRS and DOJ to make him more money!"
Microsoft:
$101 BILLION in profits.
$12.5 BILLION in tax breaks.
$176 BILLION in stock buybacks.

Please don't tell me trickle-down economics works.
It never did. Nothing trickles down.
