The Republicans have convinced these white males to continue to vote Republican (which continues to allow the rich to steal from the middle class). So every year, these white men get poorer & more powerless, but continually feel resentful to Democrats for “sharing” with people of color.

It’s possible that they believe they have less - because people of color & women have been getting more. They scapegoat Democrats, because they believe Democratic policies give away what they have to POC But the truth is, they have less because the 1% has been stealing from the middle class.

Do I believe this high volatility was created by an insanely high hero mythos that white men have envisioned themselves as (through movies, TV, & books). Yes. But the volatility of billionaires robbing them blind every day for the past 50 years really set the stage for the discontent extremism.

Trump has convinced them to blame everybody else for their defects- Because he shares the same psychology of inferiority/superiority. And he, too, dreams of being great. He just can't achieve it because he's such a dud. So he spends all of his time deflecting his failures away & attacking others.

MAGA are low self-esteem white males, with the hero mythos - waiting for someone to lead them to the greatness *over others* that they felt they always deserved. Except that their failure to be great are both natural defects (mediocrity) ... And powerlessness created by being robbed by the 1%.

But that’s why the volatility of the billionaires constantly robbing us - while feeding the grievances of these powerless white males… Makes such a dangerous, violent demographic that just isn’t dangerous and volatile in other countries. The men here ARE more volatile.
