Just so we're perfectly clear: I'm not going to be lock step with you. I am going to challenge your beliefs if I disagree with it. But if you fail to address my arguments or present anything other than hyperbole or examples, I'm going to move on real quick. "Be challenging. Don't be an asshole."

Free speech means you have the right to a platform. You don't have the right to be heard or respected for your views. You don't have the right to insist other people spread your gospel.

So I lost access to the Skype chat of someone important to me that died to suicide. And I had just finished with tech support who says there is nothing more they can do... I am coming to terms with it but it really feels hard to accept moments of that memory will be lost. (1/2)

I have some other mementos so that memory lives on. But in a digital age, it's easy to believe things will be there forever only to realize one day they might not be. Cherish it while it's there. (2/2)

Even *if* there's a "woke" reason people don't like you, people are...allowed to dislike you? And if you double down on it. You deserve every piece of shit thrown at you.

Shane Gillis is miserable bc he is convinced there is a Woke reason that people don't like him when it's actually just that his soul is rancid and you can see and hear and smell it any time he speaks. you're not mad that women at the gym are whores, youre mad they cover their drinks when you walk in

My SIL bought this for our grand-baby 6 years ago. In light of what a young woman reported happened at #Cornell these words hit even harder. Raise boys to respect women, understand consent, speak up, & NEVER stand by while a woman is abused. It starts young. Boys will be good humans♥️ #SheShed

(And a pre-emptive fuck you to anyone who tries to twist this as me actually wanting other types of fraud. Your projection and lack of media literacy is what got us in this mess.)

Part of being president should be that every month a random American is chosen and you have to spend 20 minutes in a locked room with them and the doors don't open for any reason until the time is up.

As we approach another no kings season, I want to address the (probably bot but maybe not) posts that "if Trump were really a king, we'd all be arrested and wouldn't be allowed to protest..."

A) just because a king is incompetent and ineffective doesn't make them any less a king. The label is in the attempt to seize power, not the effectiveness. B) there *have* been attempts to stop and silence opposition and pin people who go as terrorists so this isn't even a proper argument.

Had an...interesting conversation with a good friend about the "deep state" and they have full buy-in about the possibility of a shadow congress of staffers secretly run ing the government.... Listen, I'll say here what I said there. (1/2)

If you're worried about Mary from Accounting knowing how to get in touch with the mail guy as a sign of unaccountable, unelected officials having a day in our government while ignoring blatant corruption from super PACs, our SCOTUS, and complicit congress? There may be no hope for you. (2/2)

Overturn Citizens United. Implement Supreme Court reform. Institute term limits and/or some kind of ranked choice voting. Restructuring the electoral college. They maybe we can talk.

Your regular reminder: If the Russians stop fighting, the war ends. If the Ukrainians stop fighting, their land will be occupied, their leaders will be killed, their history and language will be erased, their children will be kidnapped to serve Russia.

I have received the following statement from Mount Sinai about DOJ's statement from earlier today. Mount Sinai's statement acknowledges the "settlement," but insists it is about their "commitment to safeguarding our patients’ confidential information and protecting our clinicians."
