Death victorious by Augusto Roma, 1915. He is wearing a stylish shroud decorated with art deco owls (or at least they look deco to me, although it is a bit early for the movement). #OwlishMonday #owl #31DaysOfHalloween #Spooktober #artdeco

Finished the game yesterday evening, what a gem! I hope we’ll get a DLC someday, or even another game. Great story and stellar gameplay!

I’m so happy that Machinarium is getting a sequel! I’m also super excited to hear Tomáš Dvořák’s (@Floex) new soundtrack. The first one is still one of my favorite video game OSTs ever.

According to MIT News, Margaret Hamilton died at the age of 90. "A profoundly influential computer scientist best known for leading the software engineering team at MIT’s Instrumentation Lab during NASA’s Apollo program". This famous photo 🔽 inspired the For All Mankind character Margo Madison.

ah damn, RIP Margaret Hamilton. she took safety-critical software engineering seriously, and got people to the moon and back. news.mit.edu/2026/margare...

It reminds me of this spectacular Frau Im Mond (Fritz Lang's Woman in the Moon, 1929) set. RIP Eva Marie Saint. A true classic Hollywood legend.

Like many people, I suspect, I've been thinking about Eva Marie Saint and NORTH BY NORTHWEST (Alfred Hitchcock, 1959) today. Reminded me of these wonderful photos of the Mount Rushmore set.

Astrophotographer Adam (AJ) Smadi caught this image a few hours ago from Washington state. A thin crescent Moon, sunlight illuminating the rugged lunar surface. And 2,400 times farther away—and on the other side of the Sun—mighty Jupiter, and its moons Io (left) and Ganymede (right).

Just finished LOTR War in the North in coop on PS5, what a really cool mess of a game! I only wish there was more modern games set in Middle Earth.

The eclipse seen from Frankfurt in Germany. I had no serious equipment to take pictures and yet I love how we can properly see the clipse in the lense flare of my phone!
