Deven Mack - Chaos/Sonic Prime 👨🏿‍🍳🦝🦔🥧

Gotta go in the oven! 🍎 🥧

I possess limited comics knowledge so had to look up Marvel characters who haven't appeared in the MCU yet. I have decided upon Dr. Shapiro.

Avatar Fest, YIP YIP! Come and Race the Sonic CrossWorlds with me, LIVE on Twitch and YouTube! 👨‍🦲⬇ twitch.tv/DevenAndRockoon youtube.com/watch?v=bZPEDbdKwDA

📢 GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT 📢 We are excited to announce that Deven Mack will be at Sonic Expo Dallas! Please give him a warm welcome back! Limited badges are available! 🧵

RJ Mitte undoubtedly left the world better than he found it. We should all strive for that in our own way. He deserved so much more time and to feel so much more love. A shining example of the value of seeking out underrepresented talent. Be good to others. Be good to yourself.

Day 1 wit it at Animate Philadelphia and fundraising for World Central Kitchen!

Forever grateful to Grossology animation director Matt Ferguson who told me "We might change the character design" when I first walked into the tryout with my geeky Otacon voice, which quickly morphed into a cautiously scientific Chris Tucker. Months later, Lab Rat looked just like me!

I hope to see y'all next weekend at ANIMATE PHILADELPHIA, where I'll be donating 50% of all my earnings to World Central Kitchen! And if you're not there, you should still donate to @wck.org anyway! They do crucial and dangerous work helping people all across the world!

Come and race the CrossWorlds with me! I DO still stream on Fridays and Sundays at 7pm ET / 4pm PT, when I'm actually at home! Seeing as Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is my most played Sonic game and TODAY is its launch anniversary... twitch.tv/DevenAndRockoon youtube.com/watch?v=LrI1fc2qS4E

I hope you'll cheer on my good friend and colleague Ana Sani as she makes her SURVIVOR debut TONIGHT at 8pm ET / 5pm PT! She's worked for Homelander, done voices for Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony, Dragalia Lost, Mysticons, Bakugan, Angry Birds and much more!

Rocky saw Coyote vs. Acme... And LOVED It! Did YOU? Support my fellow toons! ...Or else. 💣

So after playing through to get to Episode II, I can confirm that I am the voices of all the hobos (who may or may murder) in FALLEN ACES! Had a lot of fun with this one, and delighted with the number of random improv'd lines they included from my recording along with all the hacking and coughing!

My spouse made a gofundme to help us with lawyer fees so I can remain in the US with her and also continue working on my VO career. gofund.me/6ff699a6a We're using our VTuber names because as we are both trans, disclosing any government names is a little uncomfortable.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the unusual post. I have been dealing with a lot of immigration troubles and was on the receiving end of a lawyer's malpractice. Because of his negligence, my case got denied and there is a possibility I may get removed from the US. I need help. More info below. #gofundme

Forever in our hearts. This entire musical score gives me a lot of feelings. Ninjago's Master of the Mountain will always be extra special to me, as I'd never have had the honor of meeting Kirby Morrow otherwise. I grew up with his work, but to me, his legacy is his kindness. 🖤

I ADORE Rambley Raccoon of Indigo Park and all the wonderful things he's been doin' out there for the RacCulture! 🦝🎡 Big thankoon to the very talented @otterboyva.bsky.social for helping me meet this rising young superstar! 🤎

This game was one of the single biggest learning experiences of my early career - perhaps not in the way I expected, but certainly in the way I needed (or in some ways, deserved). I’ll forever be grateful for the lessons it taught, and the connections it both led to and helped strengthen over time.

14 years on, and this game is still special to me. It was my first paid gig ever, and I almost didn’t get to be in it; it was all thanks to @devenmack.com for giving me a chance to shine even after I had only narrowly come close to being a part of it. Still holds a huge place for me.

First professional gig, recording in a cramped space and I was going through TMJ at the same time, but I'm grateful to @devenmack.com for giving me a chance and believing in me and the confidence to say "I can do this!", and I owe it to him to keep going, and owe it to myself to chase the dream.

I've done utility VO for hundreds of games since. Dust is the one that will always hold a very special place in my heart. VO was a five year long hobby at that point that I did for fun as I struggled to pursue a writing career. Dust was what made me decide that VO might be worth pursuing as well.

'Dust: An Elysian Tail' had its fourteen year anniversary a few days ago. I recorded for it in the summer of 2011. For many of us, that was our first professional VO gig. It holds up beautifully almost a decade and a half later as an incredibly fun action platformer & an all around labor of love.

This is ABSOLUTELY true! He cried, was too afraid to tell me, told my assistant director Edward Bosco, took a misery nap, then basically saw the Matrix and reprogrammed the game while he was asleep.

Always and forever a shining example of how the love of the game; the willingness to learn; and the passion to follow through can allow even a single person to create something stupendous. And on the VO side - so many yearning creatives who, with a little director guidance/trust, could truly shine.

May be a day late, but what the hell. Going to do a spotlight on the voice cast of Dust: An Elysian Tail to celebrate the 14th anniversary! #DustAnElysianTail

Happy 14th Anniversary to #DustAnElysianTail! This was a fantastic game & labour of love. Eternal thanks to @devenmack.com & Dean for bringing all us VAs together to bring this to life! Thanks to the fans for all the love over the years! What was your experience with the game? Any fav moments?

Thank you so much to all the amazing staff, colleagues, Sonic fans and people of Atlanta for an incredible time at @sonicexpoatlanta.bsky.social! My first ever trip to Georgia was truly unforgettable and I hope to be back soon! 💙

Earlier today, I also got to meet Deven Mack; the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog in Sonic Prime. He’s also a really cool guy and a lot of fun to talk to and be around. :)

had so much fun hanging out with @devenmack.com this weekend!!

I'll be signing these prints of the Sonic characters I've voiced, NEXT WEEK at @SonicEXPOAtlanta.bsky.social! Many thanks to @samaradraws.bsky.social for your awesome artwork!

Would you ever like to see an official Ninjago cookbook? My personal pie-baking hobby being showcased through a LEGO character will always be one of my greatest honors. 🥧 It means so much to me whenever someone tells me that Arin inspired them to try baking for the first time.

It’s time for the return of a fan-favorite segment to TailsTube! Amy and Silver guest star to discuss the nature of time-travel with Tails. How many times will they say “time?” Only time will tell! youtu.be/-UDOIdn2lHs

VA TERMINOLOGY GOOD! It's only "dubbing" when new voices are recorded and timed to replace the originals—usually in a different language. SpongeBob has no English dub. Demon Slayer has no Japanese dub. An official VA doing their official voice isn't always an "impression". "Casted" isn't a word.

I feel like many have lost the actual meaning of the word "impression". It implies mimicry and imitation. I see this a lot. If you tell an actual Batman actor, "I like your Batman impression!" You may mean it as an honest compliment! But it actually implies, "That's not the REAL Batman voice."
