Listen, I think we’re done on these lads now.

Ruairí Ó Murchú TD SF (Louth) is currently on the RTÉ Radio 1 Late Debate advocating the failed "law and order" policy over drug use. He continues, joining in a far-right attack on a DRCC campaign about rape culture and consent. Sinn Féin is flying not 1 but 2 odious right-wing flags here.

Took this pic in Hong Kong on a wild night. No photoshop, no AI.

The boat I captained up and down the Shannon some years back. That might be a blurry @devore.bsky.social on the left there. Go to your camera roll and search “boat” and then post a picture of a boat you like.

BOOM! This.

This is quite extraordinary. I don't think I have heard a more coherent, articulate and accurate deconstruction & demolition of Nigel Farage's ReformUK, Tory & Restore policy than this. In under 85 seconds! @rafaelbehr.bsky.social is on here folks and worth a follow.

Excellent piece "Bluntly speaking, any future Irish government, of any composition, will be in a position to send any number of young Irish men & women to any conflict anywhere in the world by simple government majority" Would you trust Jim O'Callaghan to not send Irish kids into a war? #IrishPol

What a weird world we live in - Ukraine hits a data centre deep in Russia - Irish twitter users see racist posts about IPAS centres in Offaly fall off a cliff

And now the best part: Bot traffic from the #Yandex network has plunged to near zero following the strike on its Vladimir data center. Bot traffic includes automated requests from search crawlers, scrapers and other online services. Twitter must be a ghost town by now.

I have said this many times before, since before his second presidency. Trumps actions make perfect sense as soon as you accept he is a russian asset. His destruction of American research? His creation of division? His support of Putin? It all makes sense.

“Zelenskyy could’ve stopped this war many times, and he chose not to … he better damn well stop” — Trump is no longer trying to conceal that he’s fully on Putin’s side

CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1965: 20-1 CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1990: 75-1 CEO-to-worker pay ratio today: 325-to-1 Trickle-down economics was always a sham. Nothing has ever trickled down.

Hey, I’m just asking questions. Ignorant questions, bigoted questions, questions that have been repeatedly answered for many years. Sorry, but I’m not listening to answers right now; I’m far too busy asking questions. It’s called being intellectually curious.

Imagine you paid 2bn for 10% of a company, valuing it at 20bn.... and a year later they valued the company at only 15bn. You would be a very angry shareholder, no? This is everything you need to know about Mistrals valuation.

The kid loves #Chibi, #Kawaii, children's #anime type stuff. I got the trial to #Crunchyroll but, tbh, I'm a 40 odd year old Da in Mayo. I have no idea whats good/suitable and it's not the easiest UI. Any recommendations for an 8 year old who can read subs, prefers dubs, no issue with action etc?

German authorities warn against using fingerprint-based biometric authentication (without other factors) for banking apps, password managers and smartphones, because of the combination of AI and 3D printers. They recommend against posting pics showing fingertips (eg peace signs) in high-resolution.

#BSI #Cybernation

So often what are called “culture wars” are one set of people saying “please can we live without perpetual persecution” and another saying “no, f*** you” but the press considering the latter group have “legitimate concerns” and must be perpetually platformed

The intended output of this proposal is not a nuclear power station. It is something to say while justifying vast new quantities of data centres. It is a notional, rhetorical power source to justify actual disproportionate consumption of real power now. progressireland.substack.com/p/lets-not-r...

This is a complete distraction. Ireland cannot build a nuclear power plant fast enough to matter. Making a decision to do so would excuse punting on all the wind and solar things it can and must do. This is a lobby project of the tech industry to have something to say when building data centres.
