Anyone else's KDE desktop breaks while playing native Linux build of TF2? It doesn't matter if it's Vulkan and Legacy OpenGL version.

It could be as minor as not rendering a browser window or launching Spectacle (while focused in the game), to completely killing the desktop, where I have to restart plasma manually. Luckily only TF2 gets severe as that.

But still, every Valve game I played on my PC that wasn't running on Proton broke something on my DE or crashed midway. Really wish that it just worked.

had a dream a few nights ago there was a speedrunner just named "twocigarettes" whose thing was that he always had two lit cigs in his mouth while doing runs. we let him on the gdq stage and told him the cigs couldn't be lit so he did a full run of call of duty 4 with two unlit cigs in his mouth

It has been nearly a year since I moved to Linux, but it feels like I used it for much longer. To celebrate the occasion, I will sacrifice multiple evenings to do a reinstall, and maybe have 400 packages less than I have in a current install (~1700). Surely it will go well.
