Reading this Famitsu interview Uchikoshi did and it seems that the reason the Crash Keys game was canceled was because *Uchikoshi* wanted to use AI, not the publisher. This snippet is driving me nuts. Makes all the posturing with Hundred Line read extremely shallow.

remind your coworkers that you are a 8-year old in a 30+ year old's body by drawing pikachu on their screenshares (i am calling myself out)

i feel like "MCP" has become the hot new buzzword at work, right after "AI" because people who do not understand what these terms mean or how the technology functions think "if I say it I sound smart and it will fix everything :)"

what happens when a "dont want to do anything" day turns into a "dont want to do anything" week "kryger that's called burnout"

This is another reason why AI losers have gotten into retro decomp/recomp projects. Nobody wants to play AI slop games, so they have to reinforce the value of AI by producing something desirable, which in this case is just repackaging the work of actual talented people.

zagawee@zachisagardner.bsky.social

just wanted to share something i discovered the amount of games released in 2022 compared to this year has increased by 77%. I use 2022 because that marks the last year before AI really took over the internet whats crazy to me is that the amount of games with ZERO REVIEWS has ALMOST TRIPLED. ZERO?

This means that the increased price of RAM and consumer electronics was a result of an artificial "supply chain crisis" created by Jensen Huang pushing NVIDIA's customers to take early delivery of GPUs. Jensen Huang is responsible for making life worse for everyone.

Ed Zitron@edzitron.com

NVIDIA seems to be channel stuffing, forcing Amazon and other customers to take early delivery. The argument that these things are "scarce" when you don't even have anywhere to plug them into is nonsense...unless NVIDIA is saying you NEED to take them now, or else. GPUs are stacked in warehouses.

PROMISE: AI will make things more efficient and let you do things you want! REALITY: ruining go-to-market for indies, manipulative content, drop shipping frauds, slop grenades, false testimony in court, layoffs every moment "AI can do the work" leaves you with the worst work or no means to make $

what kills me about AI is that the people making it always talk about these high-minded uses that would supposedly benefit the world, but in the real world it's always used for the most manipulative and disgusting slop you can possibly imagine futurism.com/artificial-i...

Since a dev shared his game concept last month, Steam has been flooded with vibe-coded slop clones. This is what "democratising creativity" actually looks like. Even with AI, your ideas are worthless as long as they can be plagiarised at scale. Gen AI was designed for plagiarism, NOT creativity.

Trump on why he disagrees with Sen. Sullivan calling Putin a dictator: “I have to make deals with people, so I don’t go around calling them names…I don’t go around mocking people. Part of the reason you have that war in the first place is Biden went around mocking Russia.”

guys that cloudflare chart is about automated content crawling not social media bots, Yandex is an indexing site, when one of its DCs go down they do less crawling of the web. please learn to read.

everyone is making pretty bold anecdotal claims about the Yandex DC going out resulting in less right wing content, but all the actual data I’ve seen has been saying it hasn’t moved the needle at all. I would be very skeptical of these claims; they will almost certainly turn out to be totally false.

This whole thread is wild and fucked up Policing ruins lives and sucks up so many resources so that cops can play pretend being heroes in a video game with their expensive gadgets.

To sum up: The MA state police decided to include extra, non-required video in their response to my request for protest surveillance. What they showed was a cyclist being tracked from above and eventually tackled and shackled. I say this from my heart and with clear enunciation: Fuck that. 18/?
