I recently bought a set of pens that @andrewkmar.bsky.social had recommended and I’m LOVING them. Here a quick sketch I made to try them out, and I’m digging how much control the pens allow and how fine the lines are. Ballpoint feels better and less clunky than micron pens.

I'm a fan of critique. I'm less of a fan when it gets off the rails and critics (or more often their fans) start using that criticism to attack others as a means of social signaling, often flattening the critique into "this thing is bad."

There are people, even some trans people, who think that we can give up sports to appease bigots. That if we give up on sports, this all goes away. That is a lie. I have reported on this for years, and EVERY state that passed a sports ban as a moderate compromise has gone on to pass worse.
