Happy Monday, everybody! This week, have you considered voting early (if you can) and voting in person (if you can)? It's fun! Try it if you can!

I sent my ballot in because I am away from home learning new skills, but it’s done. I’m not very happy about some of the choices I had to make. Picking between Bonta and Gates, Bonta is there right choice, but he’s still trash. The man turned belly up over TW/Paramount after such minor pressure.

Voted weeks ago. Did not vote in person, but used a drop-box rather than mailing my ballot. Also, anyone in Washington State not registered has the option of showing up at your main county campus, registering in person, and voting right then up to and including election day.

I voted in Columbus on Saturday. Took a little while but it was OK and it's done. Kids were hoping it would stop the campaign ads on their various apps, but nope.

Pennsylvania doesn’t do early voting 🙄 but I’m taking our 16 year Old next week to do in person so they can see what it’s like since they’ll be able to vote in 2028.

Husband and I voted today! We made a date out of it - voted in person then grabbed some brunch. It was a vote date!

I had my early voting fun last week. Thoroughly enjoyed it. As an immigrant to the US who has lived here 18 years yet only got the right to vote 2 years ago, it feels both surreal and a highly important act every time I walk into my polling place. I hope that feeling never goes away.

My county mails absentee ballots to everyone registered, so we usually end up dropping them off at the polling location on election day because planning ahead can be hard

I did that once and got chewed out by a manager! She asked how the lines were and I said, actually I voted early. She objected to my wearing the sticker and yelled, “Who DOES that?” 🙄

I voted by mail. I live in an area that is mostly Hispanic and field labor. My wife is also Hispanic... a fact my Father was not happy about, being a nest short of being a wasp. We've already been told ICE is working in our area right now. I worry about her and my neighbors voting in person.

I voted early in person yesterday. I was planning on voting on election day as I usual. But then someone phoned in a bomb scare to the zoo where early voting is in my county and they had to shut it down and evacuate. That pissed me off so much that I decided to vote early just in case.

Bonus: we saw an adorable red panda, gibbons swinging around their enclosure like maniacs, and a dog/cheetah pair who live together, among other amazing creatures. I find the zoo a bit depressing, e.g., seeing birds of prey with no room to soar. But they do important work that I like to support

I checked with my board of elections and they have received and counted my mail-in ballot. The experience was so easy, I asked about voting again but apparently they feel once is enough. I think they are missing out on an opportunity to broaden their active user base, but what can you do?

I voted as early as I could, printing out my own ballot and mailing it in, with TWO Mr. Rogers stamps on the envelope. Here's hoping that created some good energy.
