Carnotaurus ~ bull lizard 🐂🦎 . My dancing pair are done! It was exciting to work on my first piece that feature two of the same species and using colours and patterns to help distinguish the male and female in this seducing dance! 💃🏻

🍂🌧️ Since mid-October the weather has become colder and wetter, especially with the arrival of the storm Austen this week. Moments of sunshine and heavy rain alternate through the day. Autumn colours are starting to show up #naturephotography #france

🦆🦢During the last weeks I have visited a small lake close to the town of Manom, which is filled with birds: ducks, swans, geese, coots, grebes and cormorants swim in its waters, while small birds and kingfishers fly around its shores #naturephotography #birdphotography #france

🌅Thousands of starlings flock at sunset over the rooftops, creating a dramatic scene. During daytime they can be seen in the fields and close to a local dumpster #naturephotography #birdphotography #france

Speaking from my field, environmental law, we actually are making so much progress despite all the news: renewable energies are more affordable than ever before and the technology keeps improving We also DID manage to eliminate the +6, +5, +4 degrees scenarios in 20 years: we need to keep going !!

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

70 percent of the internet was vulnerable yesterday to very bad security flaws inside a coding language. Turns out, *one volunteer* is mostly responsible for maintaining that code & helping push updates. Yesterday Ondřej Surý saved the internet. So I called him up www.theatlantic.com/technology/2...

Three years ago, my dad said that all fish are the same shape. Out of spite, I decided to draw all 478 families of bony fish listed in Nelson 2016. There's still some stuff I need to edit and some fish I want to redraw but, after 985 days, I finished my big dumb fish project last night.

Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #juveniles, so here're four juvenile peregrine falcons on the spire of Our Ladye Star of the Sea, Greenwich, London, a few years ago. These four would hang out together in the early morning before flapping off to terrorise the local pigeons. #birds #birdphotography

I have been working on visualizing the appearance of proposed space mirrors on the night skies. As the beam approaches it appears as a column of light emerging from the darkness. At the beam center of a 600 km high 54 m. mirror the reflection gives a light similar to that of 38 Full Moons, 9.5 Lux.
