Because it's not about the tech or its utility, it's about whatever the latest trend is. If suddenly investors are putting lots of money into square wheels, you want to be making square wheels if you want money put into you.

as for it being 18+, i only rlly put that there cuzz ideally id like everyone there to be adult since there will be adult humor now and then. but i think it'd be silly to have to id verify everyone jus' for some occasional adult humor. asked on the discord for clarification, yet to hear back.

Minecraft mods are cool and all but ngl i jus stick to "close as vanilla" as possible. my fav modpack rn is Fabulously Optimized. tho i replace iris with a vulkan shader mod and it runs so much better lol. and ngl i dont play minecraft all that often anyway.

Pt. 3 a mcdonalds map (or any fast food place for that matter, even a made up parody would do) 7/11 map (probably the gmod map (gm_7eleven) as a port) k-mart map (or walmart or any supermarket, even a made up one will do) more gmod maps ported (workshop maps also)

Have a small status update on the voxel stuff from yesterday. I, uhm... might be making Minecraft in @resonite.com now x3 I'm really impressed how well this works! This was also so far very straight forward and painless to implement. Collections are fun to work with. #Resonite #GameDev #SocialVR

Pt. 2 of things i wanna see in Resonite: Lego / K'nex / Minecraft-clone / Building block things Connect 4 or Giant connect 4 Bop It Cookie Clicker Dodgeball some kind of destruction game where you jus destroy shit with guns and explosives for fun (may be laggy, but worth it)

gonna be so fr, if the renderer that replaces unity in Resonite ends up performing the same, then what was the point other than to get rid of unity?? anything should perform better than the unity renderer.
