I have never in my life been angry at a homeless person for the situation they're in. All this resentment is over the fucking top. Scotus wants them fined? What are they going to use for money? Elitist idiots

Good morning to anyone who doesn't think an ear "blown off at the top" can heal in less than 3 weeks ☕

The FDA won’t tell Americans where their generic drugs are made, so ProPublica did it instead. Use information from your prescription label to locate the factory and see if the plant has a history of inspection violations.

Good morning & welcome to #Caturday Not everyone will warm to you and that’s not a reflection of your worth. You can be kind, genuine, and still not be everyone’s cup of tea And that’s perfectly okay We’re all made differently. Just be yourself, and stay true to who you are

I fucking hate him.

With over eighty acting credits across his career, no one would ever accuse Back to the Future’s James Tolkan of being a slacker.

Swalwell: "I want to knock out this argument we even need ICE doing what they're doing in the first place. If they are so easily moved from our streets, where they are terrorizing people, to passing out bottles of water in the airport, did we really need them terrorizing people in the first place?"

They're over at Matt Schlapp's CPAC, praying and speaking of the need for "traditional family values," while Schlapp settled a lawsuit for $480K with a male Republican staffer who accused him of groping his crotch in a car. Be best, pedo-chasing hypocrites.

I was just helping my kid with their high school Gov homework, and was astonished to learn the United States has a Congress.

You’d think expensive oil would make our government focus on solar and wind energy, you would of course be wrong

What monotheism means is surprisingly hard to pin down, but there’s a reason it swept the world. A spate of new books explore the topic. newyorkermag.visitlink.me/mEU-nv

If you want your kids to understand a little bit about the #NoKings protests, you might want to watch the musical "The King And I". There's an animated version for free on the Tubi app.

Some of you know I've spent time as a video game journalist. In that context I've come across Karl Jobst before. He's someone whose work I respect. His lengthy exposé on Musk being a video game cheater is excellent. It also tells you exactly who Musk is. youtu.be/z1ykCc588Zw?...

Any politician talking about "balancing the budget" without raising taxes on billionaires is lying to you and counting on your blind obedience.

As a candidate, Trump promised to end surprise medical billing.   Just weeks into his second term, DOGE has slashed the federal office charged with implementing a bipartisan law cracking down on surprise medical bills. Yet another Trump lie.

I was diagnosed with HIV in 1998, when I was 30. Many of my friends had died but I was told, with the new drugs available, I could expect to live another 20 years. That was 27 years ago. Honour those we lost. Celebrate that we can now treat and prevent HIV. Make HIV stigma history. #WorldAIDSDay

Hello all, I am new to Bluesky, and hopefully, this space will be more welcoming than some others who will not be named.

The House Ethics Committee has voted not to release the Matt Gaetz report containing credible allegations of sexual misconduct including rape of a minor and sex trafficking. 5 Republicans and 5 Democrats each voted, and the parties deadlocked. Guess which side voted to cover up the crimes?

Happy 41st Birthday to Adam Driver 🎂

Lots of people are about to be really mad that price of eggs goes up but they can’t get a 2nd job because they can’t afford childcare and when they do finally get the eggs they get E Coli because there’s no FDA but can’t go to the doctor because they got kicked off their health plan. #FAFO

I have to go to bed, so sadly I'll miss the big moment, but knowing that when I wake up Bluesky will have reached its 20 million-user target is incredibly exciting to me, and I expect too many of you. So glad this place is blossoming! And so glad to be experiencing its blossoming with all of you. 🦋
