Socialists on the left are focused on making daily life affordable and livable for working class people. Capitalist reich wing fascists are more focused on making luxury flying car toys for rich people. We can afford clean water for all or champagne for a few, but not both.

Today is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Lifting everyone out of poverty with UBI + UBS is the morally right thing to do, but it's also economic good sense. It is very costly to let poverty exist. The wealthy are willing to let us all pay those costs and use poverty as a stick.
