If a President can pardon people committing crimes on his behalf - and the Supreme Court says he himself can't be prosecuted for crimes committed as part of his job - then the government becomes a lawless entity able to violate our rights without limit.

Three little kids and a teacher were shot and killed at their school today in Bend, Oregon. Two more were injured. Our hearts are broken and we’re angry. It’s disgraceful that extremists keep blocking critical, lifesaving laws while kids die in their classrooms. America can do better. It must.

I am thankful for the opportunity to participate in early voting. It allows me greater flexibility for my schedule. I hope this continues in the future. It also absolves me of having to deal with the non-compliant campaigners at the poll sites on Election Day which is really getting out of control.

It will be very interesting to see how the "if they win the mid-terms everyone gets a $5,000 check" bogus promise influences voters. It sure sounds like they are trying to buy votes again. Americans are tired of this scheme. The mid-term results will reveal how much America is ready for change.
