16 August 1944 | A transport of some 2,500 Greek Jews deported from Rhodes Island arrived at #Auschwitz. After the selection 346 men & 254 women were registered in the camp. The remaining people were murdered immediately in gas chambers.

19 July 1934 | German Jewish girl, Alice Kozower, was born in Berlin. In January 1943 she was deported to #Theresienstadt ghetto from where on 12 October 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.
