Whilst there, I've given the rocky outcrop on the base a one over with cheap Acrylic burnt umber. Burnt umber is your friend.

So, two sponge layers of "ancient stone" later and we have a decent base to start blocking the rest of the colours. You could of course dry brush this, but the sponging gives more natural randomness and a drybrush will highlight layer lines on 3D prints like this more.
