On a related note: hey white people pls make some noise about the PAX intersection lounge

If you claim to be a white ally, pls make sure you advocate for PoC even when none are in the room. Especially. I’m so tired of seeing TTRPG events that have a single PoC or none. If you’re white, slide into comments/DMs to ask about the lack of representation. That’s how change happens.

RELEASE DAY IS HEEEEERE!!! Please check episode two of Bloom&Blight: Dreams wherever you listen to podcasts!!

like vance, ramaswamy is a hateful, resentful orc of a human being, and the reason i think this will hurt him politically — where this stuff didn’t hurt trump — is that ramaswamy, like vance, is also profoundly unlikeable. he has no charm or charisma or anything. just a dipshit.

This was so much fun to record, El and create and play a TTRPG system all in one session!

While you’re there, if you could grab one of each game for me for… reasons… I’d appreciate it (and I will send you the episodes I record with them before release)

The other night this fucking asshole said “African American… Hispanic… and Native American poverty rates are the highest and the best numbers ever recorded by far." His team is saying he meant lowest. 🙄 No. He didn’t. Look at who he was talking to. And his followers cheered.

just a reminder that this could have been avoided with very basic privacy law passed in the early 2010s or 2020s, but i guess that and extensive regulation aren't really the answers that AI companies and their lobbying firms are interested in

Just a reminder of what we have lost, and why you should care about getting it back.

Shout out to my fellow survivors dealing with PTSD this week. Being assaulted on a college campus and watching your abuser get lauded and rewarded is beyond fucked. Fuck Cornell, those seven pieces of shit, and every other abuser who got away with it bc a school failed to believe the victim.

Line up the dominoes A light wind blows You try and stop it tumbling But on and on it goes

Huge thank you to @nzwebfest.co.nz for nominating Bloom&Blight: Persephone for Best Cast in an Actual Play Podcast!

Just over a week until the premiere of Bloom&Blight: Dreams!

Just for context about how this is hitting: Alanis wrote the first CD my mom ever bought me. It signified her understanding of me and, alongside Tracy Chapman, launched me head first into feminist theory. Brandi was a new sapphic artist at a time I was flourishing as a young queer. Holy. Shit.

While Latinx Heritage Month also represents countries in LatAm getting their independence. A reminder that Boriken (Puerto Rico) is not free. We don't have our independence and if you live in the US, you benefit from our continuous colonization. You have an obligation to speak up for our freedom.
