Congrats to Lula on overcoming Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump to defeat Hospital Pervert Jr., even as his opposition literally blocked off roads and turned off bus service during election day. Fascists are scary but they are always, 100% of the time, ultimately gigantic fucking losers.

By moving to the “center,” Democrats have failed to fight the forces that led us to Donald Trump: widening inequality, economic insecurity, and the unchecked political power of corporations and the rich. Political centrism is nonsense. There is no middle ground between democracy and oligarchy.

Elon Musk boosted the lie that James Talarico stayed at a mental hospital. Meta suspended No Kings’ Instagram account during nationwide actions. Staff at the Ellison-owned CBS News were reportedly told to tie Abdul El-Sayed to the Muslim Brotherhood and 9/11. Democracy dies in billionaire hands.

I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee). But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention.

The American healthcare system is a choice. Anyone who tries to rationalize it in any conceivable way is either a fucking idiot or making money off of it. I hope they one day have to deal with the choices they have made for the rest of us.

Marmoush scored his first for Spurs this season. I'm certain that there is a lot where that came from. Once Spurs figure out how to play well together, his goals will flow.

Incredibly dumb argument. Journalists know where to see clashes because flashpoints where settlers attack are well-known, often tied to where Palestinians pick olives, graze their animals, or work farmland. So basically, Goldberg is saying we should doubt journalists because they do their job well

I always have mixed feelings about these images. Yes, it's inspiring to see these college students committed to democracy, but the fact that they have to do anything remotely difficult to exercise their voting rights is enraging. Taking part in a democracy should be as easy as possible.

This is just beautiful to see

Think about how little your representatives have said or done to defend their colleague Ilhan Omar. Now try to imagine how little they will do when it's our turn.

Good to see a counter effort to all the threats of voter interference in the November election

🚨BREAKING: With the threat of federal election interference looming large over the midterms, Senate Democrats plan to send more than 100 congressional staff to observe voting sites in nine states — the first program of its kind for the upper chamber. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

Maresca has a problem. He's got a player who should be starting every game in Bouaddi or at least who should be starting every big game. The problem is, who does he leave out without crushing their spirit? In big games where the opponent is deadly in attack, Cherki should be left out.

There won't be many games like that which requires Doku and Cherki to be on the bench. I hope the manager learned something here. Bringing on both players at 70 minutes would've been devastating to the opponent due to tired legs.

Also, Nunes should always start when fit. I think he would've made a difference against PSG as Kushmanov wasn't disciplined enough at right back. He was much better when he was switched to Center back.

Ndiaye should start cause he can provide both a defensive aspect as well as attacking. If Ndiaye starts, Semenyo should also start as he's better defensively than Doku. Yeah, we all love Cherki and Doku but against teams with the attacking quality of PSG, we need attackers who can defend.

Huge special thanks to @bsky.app for partnering with me on the October 20 stream with @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.social! All of my ETTW livestreams are exclusive to the AT Protocol, for reasons that we will very much be discussing throughout the various conversations. Recordings will be available later.

The @houstonchronicle.com posted this video and it's pretty jarring. No matter that he was fleeing, law enforcement officers may not use deadly force on someone who poses no significant risk of death or serious injury to others. Deliberately hitting someone with a car is a use of deadly force.

Bringing Anfield down brought so much joy today. Who is next? Bring on the boos and we'll use it as a springboard.

We were all over the place earlier on but City is beginning to get used to the boos. Hopefully Haaland scores the first goal and sets us up for the win.

This is how our government has been corrupted: 1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians 2) Elected officials rewrite rules in donors' favor 3) Donors make huge gains 4) Repeat This is why we must get Big Money out of politics — and support the candidates who will fix the system.

20 years ago the top 15 political spenders put less than $15 million into the midterms. Then Citizens United was decided. Now, just 170 billionaire families have spent $1.7 BILLION on the 2026 midterms. Just in case you wondered why the economy only seems to work for the rich.

Nothing is certain until after the appeal but since you hate City so much and already find us guilty, remove Haaland from your FPL team, otherwise you're cheating and a hypocrite. 😃

Mike Rogers went full MAGA against Abdul El-Sayed. He may have scored points with MAGA, but he sounded like an Islamophobic bigot, repeatedly invoking Hamas, Hezbollah, and Al-Qaeda to turn his opponent’s Muslim identity into a national security threat.

Unpopular opinion that should have me crucified; I'm against the death penalty, but only if there's less than a 100% chance they took a life and if they didn't have the mental capacity to fully know what they were doing. Historically, too many innocent people have been wrongly convicted.

Ever argued about the genocide on a different platform and all of a sudden you get some followers on this one within a couple of hours? You're supposed to be somewhat anonymous, which gets the conspiracy theory mind thinking; "the ultra Zionists must be keeping tabs on me". 😀 Bed time. 🤦🏾‍♂️
