This is hilarious. Even the Dutch are way ahead of us in seeing how bad things are in the United States with Donald Trump running amok and corporations capitulating to fascism. But, then again, the Netherlands has experience with being taken over by fascists.

'They were careless people, Tom and Daisy — they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.' F Scott Fitzgerald - The Great Gatsby

Help needed. My cousins are having difficulty with a very unpleasant orange stain which has taken root in their house. As a consequence other unpleasantness is also becoming more common. The house is white and it’s on the other side of a pond. How should they clean up this horrible mess?

What happened in the White House was a planned mugging. Zelensky was ambushed. If he had folded the bullies would have stolen his country. When he resisted they could blame him for the fallout. Putin was the only winner.

Soon there will be more people wanting to change the constitution to allow a third term. Then there will be a call for him to be ‘President for Life’. And for those of us with memories of other dictators: ‘King of Scotland’
