Ordered a new graphics card. It’s an upgrade from my old one, being much newer, but it was $425 after tax in the end. Tried to see if there were any stores near me that sold used parts but all we have is a fucking best buy outside Vancouver.

RTS pop-up: you need more cocksuckers. me: [clicking my one cocksucker unit while i wait for barracks to make more] cocksucker: something need doing? cocksucker: something need doing? cocksucker: you ever tongue a tub of cream cheese frosting like it's ass? cocksucker: something need doing?

The other day I was watching Wayne play Maplestory on stream and thought about, without trying, what a side-scrolling stage-style beat-em-up would look like as an MMO. The kind of side scroller where there’s some freedom to move forward and back but it’s still 2D.

This was my first sign that I’m starting to feel more like myself. Something I haven’t for the past two months. It’s been a lot of grief and trauma processing, a lot of counselling appointments and a lot of rope-ends.

Streams of bad news and emotional T-bones have been finally turning around, and some especially good news today that I’ve been stressing over the past week+ has helped a lot. Still a lot of work to do, and more hurdles down the road, but I can see the sun rising.

Here’s some Gamer Slang Lore for you. In Deadlock, players will often urge you to purchase a “BKB”. This language originates from DOTA, where players who have purchased a “Burger King Burger” will find themselves with the energy and motivation to win that can only be gained from proper nutrition.

I got duped into being a door-to-door scam sailsperson once. I worked two shifts before I just outright left. The job description was super vague, and I didn’t realize what was going on until I was in it. I was unemployed for a hot minute at that point and a little desperate, but glad I ditched.

The Cultivation genre is so funny to me. The base formula is just characters Runescape Grinding with some fights sprinkled in. The best part is, even if you're reading it and you know it's a 3/5 fast-food story that's got big flaws, it's just kinda nice to read.

The novel series I decided to continue is just, entire chapters that read explicitly like someone playing a grindy MMO but it's also weirdly relaxing.
