Can my kitchen scale measure the mass of a single paperclip? No. Can it measure the mass of 274 paperclips? Yes. Did I do this all for you? Of course.

Next stop on our journey of ever-smaller-masses, the humble googly eye. A word which I am certain is misspelled, but oddly, isn't.

Agent Higgs 2 - now with a store page on Steam! Listed as "coming soon" If I fit any more particle physics in this game, it'd be chemistry. (Does that joke work? Hm. I'll list the joke as "coming soon" too.) store.steampowered.com/app/566610/A...

Before the latest Next Fest, Steam's 'popular upcoming' was filled with moderately popular games launching in the next day or so. After the next fest, all spots locked down by games that were insanely popular (like top 10) during the next fest - launch dates weeks or more away. Kind of a bummer!

Just seems like the algorithm should do a little more weighting on stuff launching soon, like in the next week or so? But the wishlist velocity inherited from Next Fest appears to be the dominant factor.

This takes into account that the algorithm was recently changed - it was changed about two weeks before the next fest started, and I was keeping tabs on it than - most games on that tab were launching that week, many with under 100K wishlists

Question for people who have had a game in Steam Next Fest: Is it more valuable to set your demo live a few weeks early for press access, or to save up as much traffic & attention as possible so you get a strong start timed with the start of the fest?

I rarely ask for this, but I could really use a signal boost on Factory Town 2. I've put tons of time & effort into it, I think it's my best game yet, and is coming out soon. So if you can share this link, or wishlist it, I would be extremely grateful!! store.steampowered.com/app/3312130/...

Factory Town 1 has now sold over 350,000 units! Happy that so many people enjoyed this thing I made. Its upcoming sequel I think is a much better game - but I have no idea how it will compare in terms of sales. Will have to give it everything and hope for the best!
