We are almost at 1/3 of the total ballots cast in 2022. Please vote early! I'm much more worried about Election Day shenanigans like we saw in 2024 than I am about early ballots being invalidated. It's easier for them to make it hard to vote than it is to get ballots thrown out.

Colorado, in person early voting starts today! That means you can vote in person, drop off your ballot to a staffed drop box, or continue to drop those ballots off at 24/7 ballot drop off boxes. Your ballot should have come with open polling places, but you can also check your county clerks

office. If you can't get to a polling place or drop box please see if you can car pool with a neighbor or drop a comment below and I'll see what I can do to help.

Early voting starts this week for: 10/17 Massachusetts Nevada 10/19 Alaska Arkansas Colorado Connecticut Florida (Limited) South Carolina Texas 10/20 Louisiana Missouri Utah Wisconsin 10/21 West Virginia 10/22 Delaware Maryland Get out and vote!

If you don't want your child in the Trump accounts I highly suggest calling your state representatives, as well as US representatives. I also have worries about Trump accounts kicking families off Medicaid and SNAP since parents won't have full control of the account, and can't exit it themselves.

I really recommend people move away from the big G with all the changes to their services. These folks have put together a really comprehensive list, so I'm sharing theirs instead of making a new one. The website is more up to date. We can absolutely learn to move around what's happening.

This Memorial Day I'm mostly thinking of my grandparents. My half German grandfather who fought against Germany, and my grandmother who had a security clearance higher than top secret, but no one actually knows what she did. I was taught that it was my responsibility to make sure it never happens

here, and I feel like we are in the same fight against the same people nearly 100 years later. I'm also thinking of every Black and Indigenous person who fought and died for the cause of freedom.

Colorado Democratic Party votes to formally condemn and censure Polis! Colorado Dems have made me feel more comfortable with the Democratic Party than the DNC has. Accountability is good, and I believe it's important in this moment to hold people accountable. I'm glad this step was taken.

So the World Economic Forum (Founded around the same time as the Heritage Foundation btw) has been working on corporate capture of democratic institutions and countries, while the effort is also happening here in the US. I'm still a huge proponent of voting, but it's true we won't vote our way out

The news about the shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego is horrific. My thoughts are with the Muslim community today. No one should be attacked for their religion.

Research is finding more evidence of links between environmental PFAS exposure and pediatric cancers, particularly Acute Leukemias. There's also been evidence of clusters of leukemia among children of service members due to high levels of PFAS on military installations and war zone exposure.

Colorado, just a reminder we have a primary coming up on June 30th to elect who will be going to the general election in November. For Democrats vote: Phil Weiser for governor Julie Gonzales for senate David Seligman for AG Melat Kiros for CD1 Manny Rutinel for CD8

The teenager told me I'm anti-worker/labor class because I switched from a manual coffee grinder to an electric one, then accused me of being a member of the burgoisiousie. 💀

Thank you everyone! This #AYACSM made me unexpectedly emotional, but it helped to see others have similar feelings.

A4. Remember that our whole lives are in front of us when we're in your exam room/office. Spend the extra time with us, ask us questions, learn our hopes & dreams - THEN build our treatment plans. #AYACSM

A4: This probably goes back to Q3 for me. I think we need to do a better job of respecting older teens especially if they've been at it for 3 or 4+ years, and looping them in more. Also, listen to parents and patients more-just because they have questions or ask about other solutions doesn't mean

I’m on a mission to make things better for #AYACSM individuals! Our last question Q4: What is one thing you would want to share with healthcare providers regarding your experience? #AYACSM

I also feel #chronicpain isn’t talked about enough. There are levels of AYA’s from the younger end to the older end of the age range and then those like me who’ve aged out but still young…#AYACSM

Thank you for sharing @warriormegsie.bsky.social ! It’s these invisible issues that people don’t see and think you should be doing better but don’t understand, #AYACSM

A3. I wish I had found the AYA orgs sooner as they made a big difference ONCE I found them. But that took years, and inspired me to start my org. I can't pick a specific resource because it was the people more than anything. #AYACSM

A3: One thing that I know helped her was teen nights/groups through the hospital for cancer patients, and camp. I wish I had had more support in determining her individual health needs, and how to navigate decisions that took more of her opinion into account as a 2x leukemia patient. #AYACSM

Q3: What resources/support made the biggest difference for young adults? or What is one thing that you wished you had, e.g. a resource or specific type of support, that would have helped you? #AYACSM

A2: The accelerated aging internally. I don’t have the same energy and grace. It takes me longer to recover just running errands and even more so when traveling. I feel like I’m 100 years old at times bcos of #sideeffects #AYACSM

Perhaps similar to what we’ve discussed… Q2: What is one challenge of facing cancer as a young adult that people often don’t understand? #AYACSM

I also wish that people would understand that young people living with #cancer are still young people. They still want to do young people things and have fun. Programming succeeds when it reflects their real lives #AYACSM

I’m wondering if #AYA will become a specialty because more are needed in oncology, especially as we’re being diagnosed younger BUT also aging out and surviving longer without much support. #AYACSM

A2: From a mom of an adolescent; missing out on milestones of independence, loss of freedom, loss of friendships with peers, disruption of physical development. Large impacts on education and social experiences. #AYACSM

#AYACancer Nichole Based in Colorado. Here because I'm a cancer mom and I'm now in a public health undergrad with hopes of going into pediatric cancer epidemiology.

Tonight, we are talking about navigating the #AYACancer experience with an oncology #nurse, @darcyburbage.bsky.social!! Let’s start off with introductions! 👉 What is your name? 👉 Where are you based? 👉 Why are you here? Tell us a bit about yourself! Post #AYACSM if you’re only here to listen.

Graham Platner dropping out of the Maine Senate primary debates is most likely so his opponents Andrea LaGlamme and David Costello don't get as much coverage and are seen as less legitimate. This behavior should be telling you where his beliefs actually lie. It's a clever strategy, but it's

This government is doing violence upon its people, and innocent people around the world-both of which constitute political violence. Arguably the government has the responsibility to end political violence towards The People before we can demand a lack of violence towards the government.

People are dying; Black people, Indigenous people, Brown People, disabled people, trans people, women and children die every day in this country due to political violence.
