Island Life - Borderline Apostasy (featuring Jeff Young)
About a year ago I took a punt and messaged one of my favourite authors @wildtwin.bsky.social about collaborating on a tune I was working on. To my surprise and delight he agreed. Here’s the result.

Joyous session by La Tène at State51 - drums, bass, guitar, pipes, percussion, drone with brightness twinkling over the top, imagine Swans but French, psilocybin, rural, channeling dusty musical tradition into new. Try & see them in the UK this week if you can - Liverpool, Norwich, Oto in London
Underground hero and Sly & The Family Drone bandleader Matt Cargill sits with Jon Buckland to discuss the free jazz, hip hop, horror and noise that has shaped his life.

Huge thanks to @thequietus.com for including GNOD's 'Chronicles Of Gnowt (Vol. 1)' at number 28 in their 'Albums Of The Year So Far' list:

This blew my mind. Fats Waller and Duke Ellington learning pieces of music by slowing down piano rolls on player pianos and placing their fingers in the pressed keys… reminds me of slowing down side-scrolling guitar tabs on YouTube. There is no such thing as cheating.

Readers of @thequietus.com will know that we're huge fans of Siavash Amini's music. He has been having a horrific time of it due to America and Israel's war on Iran and needs new equipment to continue making his work, you can support him via Patreon here:
Ok I HAVE to buy another audio interface. about time! it's been more than 10 years since I bought the last which is kind of useless without it's breakout cable.
Help me soften the blow, in turn you get a good amount of exclusive material + deals and codes
