Can someone please unlock the Edinburgh area on the map? This fog of war is getting silly. I will climb whatever radio tower Ubisoft has installed

you do have to give atlus some credit for simply not caring about dissonance when it comes to shoving their mascot in everywhere. "Tragic ending of the protaganist giving up all his relationships and future?" Yeah sure but what if he did have a pal who was a lil snowman guy

He has prostrated himself before the far right in a futile attempt to attract its voters, as if the vast body of evidence which shows that this NEVER works - and only legitimises hate and racism - did not exist. In doing so he has lost his real voters, alienating his base in spectacular fashion.

No one expected Keir Starmer to solve our pressing problems overnight. But what we did expect – and had every right to expect – was that he would lay out a clear vision and roadmap for doing so. Instead, we’ve had drift, appeasement and a startling absence of ideas, values and ambition. 🧵1/6

Did you like into the breach? Of course you did everyone does. This is more of that, it's genuinely great.

It's the Spring Sale on Steam! Demonschool is 20% off!!! You should please buy it if you have not. It's no exaggeration to say the more people buy the game, the more we'll be able to do with it in the future. So tell your friends as well! store.steampowered.com/app/1900250/...

ngl theres always a weird melencholy seeing an exciting trailer drop for a game that you were interviewing for and had to turn down mid-stage interviews.

Sure AI could do art. but would chatGPT have the same sort of joy from finding a correct font for a model in someone randomly uploading hungarian licence plate fonts up online? Thankyou random hungarian person who decided that this needed. it was.

A rogue planet looms in the far reaches of the solar system. Your expedition mission must delve deep below its surface in search of resources & other secrets. Build complex, multi-level production chains with seamless automation. Play alone or with friends. This is Substructure.

On a game design front: Persona3R:Aigis is just such a beautiful ending to such a great RPG. I know it gets grief for being 25h of a *very* long dungeon. But I think thats almost ok. I find with a lot of long games it ends and its just gone; whilst I found the abyss as a goodbye (cont)

I didnt find myself burnt out gameplay-wise, but felt like i'd done everything I'd wanted to do and ready to move on. Weaving that with a goodbye to the characters and a deeply satisfying end to its narrative arc? its great. How do you end a game about endings? I think its the answer.

The timestamp on this is like 2am and I have no regrets. P3r is a masterclass in game writing and just hitting the player with the theme until they get it.

I love how the local takeaway emails about twice a week about their specials, themed menus and discounts. None of which exist. It's baffling and kinda endearing.

Nor much personal 3d time RN as works busy and that saps the motivation for personal 3d work, but I did finally manage to finish these 2 treemen for blood bowl, so that's something.

I wish there was some sort of body that ensured game Dev unis and colleges taught students to an appropriate level. Cause god it's a shame seeing folk who graduated and have been misled by schools of the quality of work that's needed to be employed in 2025.

It's almost as if, before the Gaza famine was officially recognised, it was a story, as media organisations could generate controversy by hosting Israeli government spokespeople and our own rightwing blowhards, insisting it was all a fabrication. Now that it can no longer be denied ... no story.

George Monbiot@georgemonbiot.bsky.social

A month ago, the famine in Gaza, deliberately created by the Israeli government, was officially confirmed by UN agencies. Since then, there has been an eerie silence in the media here, with far fewer reports than there were before. But it hasn't ended. On the contrary, it has intensified.
