Happy mothers day from Lucky Clover Farm! Here's our new cria born Friday getting some much needed vitamin D!

We had a cria alpaca born yesterday! She was 9.2 pounds at birth which is a little small but she's strong, she's getting around the stall and nursing all on her own!

Over the years, I've released 3 albums in a series called "Junk Drawer." These Bandcamp exclusives are collections of unreleased tracks: remixes, covers & songs w/samples I can't afford to clear for proper release. On Fri Dec 5th, I will release a 4th one. schafferthedarklord.bandcamp.com

We had a new baby alpaca today! #alpaca #cria #babyanimals #babyalpaca

Our new baby alpaca! This cria was born on Tuesday and has been absolutely perfect since!

Ugh. Part of a lyric from 2003.

Just finished Drova: Forsaken Kin by @just2d.bsky.social on Iron Difficulty. Almost lost me in chapter 3, but it was absolutely worth it to finish the game, everything resolved just the way I wanted. So happy I stuck with it and greatly look forward to what Just2D puts out next!

So impressed with my wife and her ability to hand spin alpaca fiber into yarn. These were made from one of our alpaca boys fiber.

Just finished Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson amazing story and a great culmination of the rest of the series. I hope that books 6 - 10 don't take forever to get written.

Starting to warm up around here now, so the Alpacas are enjoying some much needed sunlight

Not sure if I can reach the right people, but worth a shot. My wife is looking for some fantasy werewolf "bonded romance" genre of books, if that's the correct description. Any authors that are recommended?

some new tracks on the patreon. beefyness.com

I just found my anthem for the rage I'm feeling due to *gestures around* all the crazy. @beefyness.com posted his January patreon a few days ago, I don't feel I should quote his lyrics, but they describe exactly how I am feeling.

Just rolled credits on Metaphor Refantazio. Fantastic game really hope they make another of the same type. A couple annoyance but nothing that ruined the game for me. Much preferred this over Persona and SMT

Happy Winter Solstice!

Hats for everyone! Even for the birds! 🪶 #Indiegame #indiegames

This is the game we've been working on for months now. Empire in Decay is a #roguelike deckbuilding game that borrows mechanics from #chess. Most things are very WIP, we'll be posting the progress! Spotify Wrapped, as usual filled with Nerdcore, surprised that MC Lars and MC Frontalot both beat Schaffer The Darklord. I'm afraid it doesn't count local files

The cold is here, and our girls are cooshed or grazing out in the field. They all can go into barns if they want but they prefer the cold outside. This is why we shear in the late spring, so they have warm coats by the first real cold of winter. #alpaca #smallfarm #alpacafarm #smallbusiness

I made a hat! From Alpaca yarn. #alpaca #knitting

Joe Cool the Llama getting his hair done. He was extremely matted when we got him, progress has been made but it's slow going. #smallfarm #llamas

Since we're down to two male alpacas it was time to put Joe the Llama in with them. After a bit of discussions between them yesterday in the pasture they calmed down. Over night they were inside the same stall, from the look of things this morning all went well. #llama #alpaca

Joe Cool the Llama that we "rescued" from a farm. Due to the season we can't shear him yet, he has over 3 years of hair growth, which isn't bad for a Llama, but the shear number of mats in his hair is crazy. We've been working through it slowly, here's his latest picture! #llama #smallfarm

One of very few articles of clothes I have with purple, I think it still counts. #schafferday

Our alpaca Dixie at the Iowa Alpaca show a few weeks ago. She received one Second place and two third place in halter shows. #alpaca #smallfarm #alpacafarm #showanimals #smallbusiness

Anyone have a good c# starter pack? Looking mostly for news.

Realized I hadn't actually posted anything here yet. I typically just read posts and engage if I feel I have something useful to say. Sometimes I may post pictures of my alpacas. Here's one of our baby from the spring.

Does anyone know of a independent small business that can make custom stickers? I'd rather not support big business.
